Prior to the fall of the Galactic Republic, there was an ancient prophecy that foretold of a being that would bring balance to the Force: the Chosen One. The Jedi Order believed the Chosen One would destroy the Sith and bring balance to the Force. Anakin Skywalker, trained by Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, was said to be the Chosen one, but he fell to the dark side of the Force in his inability to let go of his lover, Padme Amidala, and in his self-hatred and lust for power, became apprenticed to the Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Sidious, as Darth Vader.

The son of Anakin Skywalker and Padme Amidala, the Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker, swayed Vader to sacrifice himself to destroy Darth Sidious. With the Sith extinct, Anakin Skywalker thus fulfilled the prophecy of the Chosen One and brought balance to the Force.

After the Chosen One restored balance to the Force, Force-sensitives Ben Solo, a descendant of Anakin Skywalker, and Rey, who trained as a Jedi under Luke Skywalker and his sister, Leia Organa, came to the forefront of the war between the First Order and the Resistance, eventually being bonded by the Force into one entity before it; a unique dyadic Force-bond that transcended physical and mental barriers between individuals. Through their bond, Ben Solo and Rey were able to destroy the last Sith Lord, a returned Darth Sidious, and thus return balance to the Force as Anakin Skywalker had.

His tension rose the longer he sat meditating. He knew how well his anger could get the best of him and sadly there was no possible way for him to control it. Unfortunately for him he needed to do this everyday in order to remain calm. He felt a dark and cold presence upon him, but he wasn't quite sure who it was. The presence became stronger and then his blood ran cold and he felt chills flow down his spine.

"Oh my god," he said.

"Long have I waited." It couldn't be, this was impossible. This didn't make any sense. "I told you you could not get rid of me."

"This is impossible."

"My boy nothing is impossible especially for me," he said. "I can seem to recall the last time we met when you journeyed to Exegol to kill me. You wanted power, but instead you chose to betray me," he said coldly. "But perhaps you could help me once again."

"Forget it, you've died twice what makes you think you won't be destroyed again?"

"Ah, but you don't want to kill me, you want something much more valuable than death," he said.

Kylo had asked this question before but he was going to once again, "I have everything I need, but tell me, what more could you give me?"

The voice was silent until he said two words that he knew Kylo wanted to hear, "Your family. You want your daughter. As a matter of fact she is of value to both of us."

"What do you need her for?"

"A small purpose you could say, she will be yours if you do as I tell you. Destroy her mother! Do not kill the girl! And bring her to me."

"Where? Exegol is a deceased planet. It's practically dead."

"Exegol will no longer be the Sith's hideout, I've found a place that your daughter might know. But I warn you she holds a power that is beyond any Sith or Jedi's, even mine." Alix was more powerful than Palpatine? That seemed unlikely.

"But she has also stolen something from me that I want but I still require her presence."

"What did she steal?" Kylo asked. Palpatine didn't say anything but instead only cackled his wicked laughter.

The light side of the force was stronger with this young one. Alix had become more stronger than any other Jedi or Sith in the entire galaxy. She had nearly mastered every element through the Force and learned that all things, including her, were stronger when brought together. Today's training was all about reliving the past something she always struggled with because she couldn't remember her past. Another year of training and things were still tense and pretty awkward, unless your fifteen and still a padawan, but she very glad that she had made it through the next two trials of the Jedi which were the Trials of Flesh and Trial of Spirit.
