26. Boyfriend

[Bora's POV]

After lunchtime!

I was doing my work with Soohyun in the class. We both were silent and concentrating. Jake was doing his work as well. Later, someone patted my shoulder and I thought it was Soohyun.

" huh? What do you want?" I didn't glance at her.

" Umm... I'm Jihoon." As I heard a boy's voice, I turned to look at him and widened my eyes.

" Oh yes. Nice to meet you." I was so awkward because I didn't know him.

" we're partners, by the way." he smiled and I was so confused. " The assignment. Professor announced partners yesterday and I didn't know who was Bora. Now I know it's you." he giggled and I gasped.

" I'm sorry. I didn't know we have a partner." I stood up and talked with him. " Actually, I have done a half of it."

" Oh! I just did some research. So... Do you have some time after class?" he asked politely.

I nodded, " sure!"

" Alright, let's do the assignment together, " he took out his phone from his pocket and handed it to me. " Can I have your number?"

I took his phone and typed my number. Then I gave it back to him. He saved it and turned to grin at me.

" Nice to meet you, Bora." he took his hand out for a handshake.

It seemed like I couldn't do this because I just knew him. I waved at him and smiled a little, " Yeah! Nice to meet you, Jihoon-ssi."

He scoffed and put down his hand, rubbing his neck awkwardly. Later, after having a small conversation, he's gone back to his place.

I sat down and sighed. I had anxiety knowing new people.

After class, the three of us walked together through the hallway. I felt more comfortable with them these days. I even forgot about last night. I'm glad! It scares me.

As I walked out of the gate, there's Taetae who was waiting for me. I smiled automatically as soon as I saw him. Suddenly, a boy stopped in front of me and it's my assignment partner. I jumped a little and looked at him.

" You didn't answer my call. I've been searching for you," he said breathlessly.

I gasped, " Omg! I'm so sorry. My phone is in the bag and I didn't notice it." I apologized.

" Nah! It's totally fine. Don't worry." he smiled.
" Anyway, where do you think we should go now?"

I was thinking of a place but I didn't know much about this neighborhood. I shook my head and giggled.

" if you don't know, then let's go to the coffee nearby. I used to go there several times." He said and I agreed.

" let's go then." I was about to walk away but then Taehyung walked to me and grabbed my wrist.

He stared at Jihoon deadly. I was startled because of his unexpected appearance.
" Where are you guys heading to?" his deep voice said it out.

Jihoon looked confused, " We're going to do our assignment. Anyway, who are you?"

" I'm her boyfriend." Taehyung said seriously and I was shocked. What the hell is he doing?

" Oh... Actually, we are just heading to a coffee shop to do our assignment." Jihoon hesitated.

I gripped Taehyung's hand and he turned to look at me. I glared at him and he just winked at me, turning back to Jihoon.
" Alright! Can I tag along?"
