37. Stunning lady

9 pm

Bora was doing her assignment and I was watching inspiration videos, thinking about what to do with the money which was given by my parents. I should think of something which will bring advantage to me such as business or job. Suddenly, Bora's phone rang, and I was startled.

" Why is he calling me now?" she mumbled as she looked at her phone, which I could hear what she meant.

" who is that?" I asked from my place.

She turned to look at me from her desk, showing her phone screen. It's from Jungkook. Perhaps it's about the party.

" Answer him," I said simply.

She didn't think twice, just answering the phone call, " Hello Jungkook Oppa!"

I wanted to know what they were talking about. So I glided a little by a little to be near her. She's still talking to him about how she was doing. Eventually, she saw me and raised her eyebrow to ask what I was doing.

I smiled awkwardly and stood up, " I just wanna know what you guys are talking about." I whispered.

She shook her head and pulled her phone out of the ear, turning on the speaker, " By the way, do you have something else to talk to me?" she asked him.

(Actually, tomorrow is the company's anniversary and there will be a celebration. So I want to invite you and your boyfriend to the celebration. Would you like to come?)

She turned to look at me and I shrugged, " Why do you have to invite me tho? I'm a college student and there will be lots of business people and employees."

(We don't mind it. I just want you to come and have fun. Since we were apart for years so it's great to meet up again. But if you don't want to come, it's okay. I understand.)

" Uhm... I have been to business or company ceremonies quite a lot. You have already invited me so I can't refuse it." she giggled. I thought she wouldn't go.

(I'm glad, Bora. It will start at 7 pm. Don't forget to bring your boyfriend too.)

" Of course, I can't leave him alone." she giggled.

(can I talk to him for a little bit?)

She turned to look at me and I widened my eyes as I was surprised. I nodded to say yes. She handed me the phone and I pretended to talk to him as a stranger, " Hello, Jungkook-ssi."

(Hello Hyung-nim. Oh sorry, this seems casual. Anyway, do you have any suits?)

" I never own it one."

(Would you like to borrow mine? I have many of them.)

I turned to look at my beautiful girl and she widened her eyes, shrugging.

" oh... It's okay. I don't want to bother you." I tried to giggle awkwardly.

" Oppa... You're being so nice," she said suspiciously.
