9. Application

We stared at each other for a moment and I broke the eyes contact. It started to be awkward.

" I guess you've finished university, right?" I looked at my feet.

" Hmmm.... I guess it's right. But I feel like I have been in department of information technology." He nodded while he said.

" Your memories are coming back." I looked at him and smiled.

" Really?" He confused.

" I am not sure but don't try too hard to remember everything. Take time!" I stood up and stretched my arms.

Taehyung stood up and stretched his body. I looked at him weirdly. He looked at me and smiled. Smiley boy.

We went back home. I was so nervous to face my parents right now. Bora! Calm down. Face reality.

I went in the house and I saw my mom sit at the living room, watching TV. Then I headed straight to my room.

Someone grabbed my wrist and I looked back.
" Omma..."

She released my wrist and pulled me in her embrace.
" My big girl. Omma can't help and stay with you forever. You will have family in the future. You will have job in the future." She patted my back softly.
" You have to be ready to become an adult. Wonderful adult." She hugged me tightly.

I hugged her back and my tear rolled down on my cheek, " I won't disappoint you. I'm your only child. I will make you both happy and proud."

She patted my head and pulled me out, " Good girl. You've grown up, baby." She kissed my cheek.

" Saranghae, omma." I pouted and she said it back.

After that we separated our ways. I looked myself in the mirror and thought.

" I have to get ready. I'm 20 now. I have to experience lots of things in life. I have to stay out of comfort zone." I talked to myself in the mirror and started to smile. " I will make it."

The next day, I tried to search for university and Taehyung helped me as well. We did a research in my room. Taehyung seemed a bit weird to stay alone with me in the room.

" Are you hungry? I will grab some food." He stood up.

I shook my head, " Feed yourself." I said while looking at my laptop.

" So I'm going to grab something." He walked away and looked back. " Are you sure you don't need anything?" He asked and I turned to look at him annoyed.

" NO!"

" Okay!" He left.

Suddenly I saw an interesting university. It's Yonsei University. I looked up for more informations. The school is big and old. But it said Yonsei University is the three most significant university in South Korea.

Meanwhile, Taehyung walked in and I called him to come here.

" Taehyung! Taehyung! Come here." I waved my hands.

" What's wrong?" He walked towards me quickly and looked through the laptop.

" I found it!" I said happily and turned to look at him but ended up my nose touched his cheek. I leaned backwards immediately and pretended like nothing happen.

He cleared his throat and still looked through my laptop. " Omg! The building looks so scary."

" I know, right?" I giggled. " But I like this kind of building."

" How many GPA do they need?" He asked.

" Above 2.5 and I got 3." I raised 3 fingers.

" It's good for you." He said while still looking the laptop.  " When will you apply?"
