(y/n) POV:

Anakin and I rushed out of my room side by side, the mood completely shifting from what it was not less than a second ago. When the quarters Elliot was staying in came into view, we saw a huge burnt hole in the wall that was evidently from some sort of blaster. Clone troopers and other Jedi came in through the opposite side, meeting us halfway at the outside of the room.

"What happened? Why weren't either of you here?" Obi-Wan demanded.

Anakin and I looked to each other and then back at Obi-Wan, not knowing how to answer since we couldn't say the truth.

Finally I came up with something, "We uh, we had to use the washroom." I paused and added, "At the same time."

In my peripheral vision I could see Anakin's eye twitch when I added that last part. Obi-Wan knitted his eyebrows in confusion and looked back and forth between us. I hoped he would believe that, even though he probably knew that Anakin and I wouldn't be stupid enough to leave Elliot unguarded.

He closed his eyes and shook his head, "Unbelievable. Now thanks to you two, Elliot was taken by some battle droids into a Sith Infiltrator to who knows where."

My eyes widened and my heart raced with anxiety. We were the reason this happened. Elliot was taken because we let our emotions overpower our duty. I inhaled and started pacing, "Okay okay, maybe we can try following the ship?" I suggested.

Obi-Wan pointed his finger at me, "You can try following the ship, (y/n). Both of you got us into this mess, so I expect you to get us out of it. And I at least need Anakin here because many of the droids are still wreaking havoc in the building, so additional help would be useful in case of a bigger plot."

I just looked at Obi-Wan, dumbfounded. I was going to do this alone? I had never gone on this type of mission by myself before, and I wasn't sure if I wanted that to change. Normally I wouldn't be so worried about something like this, but in the pit of my stomach I feel that there really is a bigger plot. If that's true, then I would definitely need some reinforcements since we know the Sith are involved.

I sighed and nodded my head, pulling my comlink out of my pocket to put on my wrist so that I could use it if I needed help. Obi-Wan eyed it with a puzzled expression, "Why did you not have that on already?"

I glanced at him and tried to think of a logical answer but none came to my mind. I took it off earlier when I was with Elliot because I didn't want Anakin to be able to communicate with me that easily, so I could annoy him more. And Anakin knew that too, because I could feel him trying not to laugh next to me.

Thankfully Obi-Wan decided not to press any further, and shook his head. "I don't care, just find a way to save him and do it quickly before any more harm is done." Then he ran the other way to the sounds of blasters and beckoned for Anakin to follow. But he turned to me and lowered his voice so no one would hear.

"Please be careful. If anything happens then I want you to contact me immediately."

I smirked at his adorable protectiveness and squeezed his arm reassuringly.

"Everything will be fine, Ani. And I'll make sure to stay in touch with you."

He nodded and looked into my eyes for a little longer, so we could both enjoy this moment before we had to separate. Then he turned around and ran down the hallway after Obi-Wan, leaving me by myself.

I took a deep breath and regained my composure, and sprinted all the way to the hangar bay so I could find an X-Wing to fly. My long braid flew behind me at my increasing speed, and I felt as light as a feather running on the solid metal ground. My eyes landed on the first ship I saw, and I also noticed someone already waiting for me.
