There are a lot of reasons why I created this story, but I thought I would share with you all the song that really inspired it! It's called Darkest Hour by Andrea Russett💕
The reason I'm publishing this now is because the 'darkness' and 'abandonment' concepts aren't fully introduced/explained in the beginning of this book. But at this point, we know what (y/n) is going through and I think this song really expresses how she's feeling, the way she's been treated, as well as her fears.
And this song is about people fighting through inner darkness, and dealing with the world's criticism, all while desperately wanting one specific person to just be there for them and understand what they're going through. But when that person isn't there, it becomes a toxic cycle of pain and desperation.
This song was also made to remind people going through depression, grief, anxiety, conflict, etc. that they're not alone. I know it's pretty sad but I've always found the message and lyrics to be so beautiful. If any of you decide to listen to this song, then I hope it touches your heart like it did mine❤️
