TW: Mild sexual content. Otherwise, carry on.
(a/n): Also this chapter is pretty much just a filler because I wanted you to see the experience of moving in with Ani hehe.
(y/n) POV:
"I'm sorry, what?" I asked Obi-Wan with a stunned expression.
Did I hear him correctly? There's no way he just said that Anakin and I were going to be roommates.
Obi-Wan nodded in understanding of my confusion, "I said, you two will be roommates. We want to see what the results will be if you are both physically near each other for longer periods of time than usual. We don't know why your bond was damaged in the first place, but perhaps you both can find a way to keep it strong as you spend additional time with each other."
Oh God. Is this really happening right now?
I nodded but I was still lost in my own thoughts. Anakin and I would be sharing quarters, which sounds like a dream and a nightmare at the same time. I can't even begin to imagine everything that might happen if we're going to be alone together for that long. But I pushed those thoughts aside for now.
Obi-Wan sighed, "I know it may be strange for a while, but we have faith that you'll make this work."
I stiffened and nodded quickly, "Us too. Is that all?"
This was all so awkward and I just wanted to leave. I didn't even look to see Anakin's reaction yet because I know he was probably thinking the same things as me, and looking at him would just make this weirder.
Yoda nodded and lifted his cane, "Dismissed, you are."
He turned his head to look directly at me, "Talk about this more, we will. Start packing, you should."
I nodded again and Anakin and I both said a quick goodbye, then left the room side by side. It was silent for a few seconds before Anakin cleared his throat to get my attention. I looked over at him and saw that he was side glancing at me and failing at trying to hide a smile.
I rolled my eyes, "Don't say it."
This time he started to laugh, "Don't say what?"
I sighed, "Whatever you're about to say, just don't say it."
I turned my head back forward and pulled my hood over myself a bit more so that he couldn't see the smile forming on my lips.
"Okay." He said innocently, "Then I'll say something else."
Suddenly he appeared right in front of me, causing me to stop in my tracks and take a step back. He smirked down at me and loomed over my smaller form.
"Why is your hood up?" He asked in a razzing tone, one that admittedly made my heart flutter. By the way he was looking at me, I could tell he already knew the answer to his own question, but he wanted to hear it from me. I didn't want to make this easy for him, though. Not after that charade he pulled at the party.
I shrugged naturally, hoping it didn't seem weird, "I'm cold."
Anakin chuckled, "Inside of the Temple? And during Coruscant's warmest season?"
I nodded and pushed past him, heading for my room to get my things. I didn't want to give him this satisfaction. Not yet, at least. I speed-walked into my own quarters and grabbed the bag that I had taken to Padmé's apartment. It was already filled with some of my belongings so I didn't have much packing to do. I grabbed my lightsaber and some lotions that I left on my nightstand when I heard footsteps behind me.
