Nate and I have been best friends for as long as I can remember. He's such the perfect best friend and I couldn't ask for anyone else better. He was extremely protective over me though and it was so cute. Except sometimes he got too protective over the guys I saw. This guy James has just asked me out on a date, thing is he's going to have to pass Nate's test before I date him. I walked to Nate's house to tell him about my date.
'Knock knock'
He answered and he was never shocked to see me "Hey babe." He said, as I walked in. He pulled me in for a tight embrace and we walked to the living room. People would think we were dating. He always greets me that way. "So Nate, this guy has asked me out on a date and I wanted to make sure it was okay with you, considering your so protective." I said laughing a little. Nate started laughing too before saying "I need to meet this guy first babe."
~skip a few days~
Today was the day Nate was going to meet James and being scared was a understatement. There was a knock on Nate's door and that would be James, I answered it and he smiled and walked in.
"So James." Nate started, "What are you intentions with Y/N." He carried on. "E-erm, I l-ike h-e-r." He said which caused me to blush. Nate's interrogations carried on for about 20 minutes "Thank you James your are perfect for my best friend." With this, he smiled and so did James, and then he left. "See you tomorrow for our date Y/N." James said whilst I was standing on the doorstep, he placed a sweet kiss to my lips and walked to his car. I walked back into Nate's house and sat on his sofa, he came and cuddled up to me. "I'm glad you've found someone I approved of." he said placing a kiss to my forehead. "I'm glad you approved, I love you Nate I'm so glad I have you." I replied, we spent the rest of the night cuddled on the sofa talking about my date tomorrow.
