You tapped your foot against the metal bar waiting for your boyfriend. He was coming back home from a long tour at Magcon. You missed him so much that you couldn't wait any longer.

Incoming call: Josh (Feel free to change his name)

You smiled to yourself knowing that you had some company. Josh was your friend for years, he also knew Shawn. You and Josh have been becoming closer since Shawn left, which didn't seem like a problem to you. Both you and he knew that Shawn was yours.

"Hey!" you say. "Hey Emily! Is Shawn there yet?" you hear through the phone.

"No...I'm waiting for him." You frown as you kept a look out. "He'll be there soon! I was just wondering if you guys wanted to grab a bite later?"

You clenched in your teeth knowing that you just wanted to spend some time with Shawn, however a couple of hours wouldn't hurt.

"Yeah, totally! I'll let him know" you say as you start to hang up your phone.

You then feel strong arms wrap around your waist tightly. You struggle to keep your phone in your hand as you nervously welp. You turn around seeing Shawn. You immedietly pull on his neck as you rested your head on his warm chest. "Shawn!"

"I missed you, Emily." He says as you smell in his cologne. You both exchange looks as your lips connected.

"How was Magcon?" you ask as you stay on your tippy toes.

"It was great! I just missed being with you."

You blush to yourself as you both start walking over to your car. You kept getting friendly text messages from Josh. You knew Shawn seemed to notice, however he was too happy to say anything.

He wrapped his arm around you as you arrived at your car. You jumped into the passenger seat as you both intertwined fingers.

He started driving on the highway as you cranked up the radio.

You both started singing to the songs until an advertisement came up. "Cheating on me?" he smirks over to you.

You shot a look over to Shawn. "Excuse me?" you giggle. He then pointed over to your phone which was constantly vibrating. "Oh...that's just Josh." You explain.

Shawn gave you an unsure look which made you feel a little guilty.

"I would never cheat on you silly." You smile as you lean over giving him a kiss on his soft cheek.

Shawn stayed silent as he drove the car. You decided to turn off your phone to give him your full attention.

"What you up to later?" he then asked.

"Oh...um. Josh wanted to know if we wanted to go eat."

You watch as Shawn raise up his eyebrow. "Eat, eh?"

"Ya know like food?" you roll your eyes playfully hitting him on the shoulder.

"Sure." He said.

"Don't you want to see your friend?" you awkwardly say already knowing the answer. "Not when he's trying to steal my girl." He chuckles. You lean your head into his shoulder. "Don't be so jealous." You joke. You then see Shawn start to pull on the break, putting on his signal light then eventually, pulling over on the street. You were confused, what was he doing?

"Can I see your phone?" he says putting the car on park. You sit up hesitating at first, but then realizing that there was nothing to hide.

You give your phone to Shawn who went over to Josh's text message.

He then started moving his fingers across the keyboard, then pressing the send button. "Here you are." He winked at you as he started the car again.

"What did you write?" you laughed in confusion.

"Oh you'll see." He says giving you a quick peck on the lips before focusing on the road again.

You unlock the phone as you see Shawn's text.

Yo man, it's Shawn. Fuck off <3

You felt as if unusual butterflies flew inside your body. Shawn never really threatened or swore unless he was kidding, but this jealous side of him was sexy as hell. You smile to yourself knowing that you had a protective boyfriend.

"Love you." He says placing his warm hand on top of yours again.

"So no for food?" you ask making sure. You then see Shawn stare at you for the longest time. "Ok Ok..." you say putting your hands up in defense. "Besides, I wrote a song for you......."
