(Outside the entrance to the science building, a girl with a thick build is standing outside the front door switching between checking her phone and looking into the crowd. Deva approaches her)
Deva: Hey! (the girl looks at him) I don't think I've seen you before.
Girl: Really? Cuz I've seen you before.
Deva: Really? (She nods) Well, why didn't you say hi then?
Girl: (giggles) I don't know you like that.
Deva: (cheeky smile) You could've fooled me. You say you see me but I don't see you. What do you expect me to believe?
Girl: I came here to pick up my brother. I think you've seen him.
Deva: What's his name?
Girl: Danny Holland.
Deva: Never heard of him. What does he do?
Girl: He's an expert on thermodynamics.
Deva: Interesting. What do you do?
Girl: (blushes) What do you mean?
Deva: Your brother does thermodynamics. I'm asking what you do unless you want to become like your brother.
Girl: Oh god no! I'm not smart like him! I'm more into music. I'm a lead singer in my band.
Deva: You sing? (Nods) Let's hear it then.
Girl: Here? Like, right now?
Deva: Yea why not?
Girl: (She looks around scared) But people will hear me.
Deva: What you've sung before right?
Girl: Yeah, but that's a music crowd, this is random (she laughs).
Deva: Okay then, let's not sing now. But you'll have to sing to me later.
Girl: Later?
Deva: Yeah, the next time I see you.
Girl: (giggles) But I don't even know who you are.
Deva: Well, now you do. I'm Deva.
Tammy: Tammy!
Deva: Pleasure to meet ya, Tam.
Tammy: (giggles) Do you always give nicknames to people you've just met?
Deva: To be honest, it just came to me.
Tammy: So what do you do?
Deva: Oh I'm an inventor.
Tammy: (curious) An inventor? (He nods) What do you invent?
Deva: Various gadgets you know, special pens, GPS's, micro trackers.
Tammy: Wow! That sounds so cool!
Deva: Yeah, come with me one day and I'll show you.
Tammy: Sure!
Deva: (takes out phone) What's your phone number?
Tammy: Give it here (Deva hands Tammy his phone. Tammy pushes a couple of buttons and hands the phone back to Deva) Well, it was nice meeting you.
Deva: You too.
(Tammy left the scene)
