(Deva and Yasmine are walking to school.)
Deva: So I was thinking. There's a nice café down the street. We could go there after school.
Yasmine: Really?
Deva: Yeah. We hang around at school and all, I thought we could spice up our relationship, try something new.
Yasmine: I don't know Deva.
Deva: Come on, you're always telling me that. I'm not asking you to do anything serious. I just want you to try a new experience with me.
Yasmine: Maybe, I may be busy sometimes after school though so I will let you know.
(They go separately to class. Deva sees Obe, Issei, and Ned)
Obe: Hey man. What's good?
Deva: I don't know dude. I feel like I'm at a loss right now.
Issei: What's going on man?
Deva: It's Yasmine. I have a strange feeling about her man but I can't put a word on it.
Issei: What's up?
Deva: Every time I ask her to do something, the usual responses she would give me are "maybe", "I will let you know". Even today when I suggested we go out together after school I get the same responses. I get she's busy and all but I'm tired of that man.
Ned: Maybe she's not comfortable going on dates with you mate.
Deva: When I first asked her out, she was comfortable. So I'm sure she's comfortable going out with me. It's just that, I don't know, I've been thinking about some of the stuff I've been doing to her.
Issei: Like how?
Deva: I notice there were things I had to do to get her to follow up. Like when I talk to her, I always have to say something to talk about something else in a conversation. She wouldn't bring it up herself. I don't mind doing it if she genuinely has nothing to talk about, but this has been common. Another thing is that I wanted to get physical with her but she wanted to do some makeup for me. I didn't want to look like a girl and shit, so she moved away a bit. I thought okay maybe she didn't like doing the things I've asked her to do so I'll give her this one.
Issei: So you let her make you look like a tranny.
Deva: That's what I thought. Turns out she didn't do that. She just put some purple makeup on my neck and took a picture of that and posted it on Instagram.
Obe: She just wanted to do that? Why didn't she say anything?
Deva: I honestly don't know. If she just wanted to do something to my neck I'd have no problem with that. Anyways, I have to head to my class. See ya.
(Deva leaves the scene. A rough-looking kid sees Deva leaving, and begins to eye Yasmine. Obe, Issei, and Ned catch onto this)
Obe: Did you guys see that?
Issei: That guy was checking Yasmine out.
Ned: Oh, he's been doing that for a while.
Issei: How do you know this?
Ned: Because I've seen him do it in the hallways. He was looking at her when she was taking a picture with us.
Obe: Why didn't you say anything, you dolt?
Issei: Yeah, what if this guy is planning to steal her away from Dev?
Ned: Really? Is that why I see Yasmine talking to him here and there?
