Chapter 38 Damon's POV

"Ready man?" Carter ask me while he's behind the wheel driving.
"Sure I'm going to court in a case about a potential pregnant woman" I say sarcastic.
"Don't have to snarky about it"
"Sorry man it's just nerve wracking"
"Sasha's got this and he knows what he's doing, he's helped you in times of trouble and got you out right?"
"Yeah but this.."
"He will get you out of this one, he saw you change Damon"
I nod and I look straight ahead.

Once we got to the court house we park next to Sasha .
Me and Carter gets out and Sasha is there waiting with I believe is my lawyer today.

We both walk up and Sasha says "Damon this is your Lawyer Tanner"
I put out my hand and shake his hand and say "thank you for doing this"
"No problem Damon"
We all turn and walk into the court house.
I see Ashley with her lawyer and she's wearing a pair of slacks and an oversized which I've never seen her in any oversized thing but shirt that flows more but her breast were showing a bit with the buttons down . Why did I even go for her? Her breast are fake and he butt is so fake to.
But Payson she was all real, her chest and the back side natural, well everything of her is natural.

I keep walking and walk in the room.
It's a regular court house.
We sit at the left side and wait for a bit.
Sasha and Carter sit behind the judges part.

I see the lawyer take out some papers out of his brief case.

Eventually Ashley comes in with her lawyer and another girl who's wearing a big hoodie, jeans and black heels but I can't see her face because her hoodie his up.

Ashley and her lawyer sit on the right side and the other girl sits behind the judges part.

The judge comes in a minute later and sits on the judges chair and hammers the Mallet down.

"Court's in session" the judge says.
I twiddle my thumbs on the table and focus on the judge.
"So we have a case of finding if Ashley is really pregnant, let's go to Ashley's lawyer"

Her lawyer stands and says "your honor, my client is pregnant, she took a test a week ago and got the results back"
She pulls out paper and hands it to the judge.
He looks for a second and then says "now Damon's lawyer"
He motions for mine to talk.
Mine stands up and says "your honor Ashley has been on birth control for years now I have the perception records from her doctor"
He hands them to the judge and all I'm thinking is how did he get those? Like I don't think that's legal.
"How did you get these?" The judge ask what I'm thinking.
"I didn't do it illegally, I am Ashley's brother , so I just said I'm family showed prof and yeah"
My mouth dropped what?!? Did Sasha know this?
And he's going against his brother?!?
"Wow alright then"
"Her last perception four weeks ago, and you can't take perception birth control with a baby"
The judge nods and has my lawyer continue on.
"I call to the stands Dr. Jackson"
A man get's up, I didn't even notice he was here and goes to the stands.
He puts his hand up and swore to not lie and then he sat down.
"Dr. Jackson When did you last see Ashley ask for more birth control?"
"About a month ago"
"Now did she take a pee test"
"No"
"I object" Ashley said "I went to a different doctor and took a pee test and the pills were for my friend"
"Ashley it's not your turn to talk" I judge told her.
She sat down and my lawyer proceeded.
"Thanks all I needed from him"
The doctor stood up and left.
"Now I call her" Tanner pointed to the hoodie girl. "To the stands"
"What I don't even know who she is" Ashley cried.
"I said shut it it's not your time" the judge said.
The hoodie girl slowly stood up and went to the stands and did what the doctor did before sitting down and didn't show her face.
"Now Melody, I know it's you"
She looked and looked at my lawyer.
"Your pregnant right!"
"Um, I don't know what your talking about"
"I'm your cousin so don't lie in front of a judge"
"Is he right" the judge said.
She nodded yes.
"Did you go with Ashley to take the pee test with her?"
She shook her head no and said "no I didn't"
"Where were you?"
"I was at home"
"Do you live with Ashley?"
"No"
"Close by?"
"Yes"
"What day did Ashley go?"
"I believe a Wednesday"
"Mm k do you know what time?"
"This is ridiculous" Ashley said but the judge silenced her.
"I think 1 pm"
"Yeah I saw you and I have prove on the cam by your guys house on the streets and it has you two in the car"
He pulls out a photo and it has both of them in the car, Melody's pregnant bump coming in a bit.
Melody looks hesitant and says "fine I'm the one who peed in the cup, she's my cousin and she went to my doctor with me"
Ashley looked pissed at her cousin.
I smiled relieved that I didn't knock her up and I'm safe.
The judge slams his hammer down and says "Ashley is guilty of saying she's pregnant and it's really her cousin, Ashley you will be doing community service for the next three months, case close" he slams it down again and gets up and walks out.

I turn and say "thank you, how did Sasha know and why go against her?"
"I'm usually Sasha's lawyer and I can't stand her anyways so why not have her get called out for her crap?"
"Thank you again"
"No problem see you around Damon"
He walks out and Sasha and Carter comes up and hugs me and we all walk out together.
"Thank you Sasha"
"Anytime, I could never leave you, just stay out of any more trouble"
"Will do so"
"Press meeting 8 am sharp tomorrow"
"See you then"
He gets in his car and leaves.
"I can't believe what happened" Carter says.
"I know me either, who knew about her family"
"Crazy ride"
"Your telling me"
"Let's go I'm hungry"
We drive off and I call Victoria and tell her what happened and she meets us for food and we celebrate.
"So what song are you singing tomorrow?" Victoria ask.
"A new one I wrote"
"Can't give me a hint!"
"It's about falling again but this time regretting it"
She nods and we all eat and then later Carter drops me off at my house and I flop on my bed relieved and grateful that I didn't totally mess up but I still regret what I did to Payson and I hope she listens in tomorrow on my press meeting because this song and what I have to say is about her.
