Chapter 19

"Got everything you need?" Damon asked me while packing the tour bus.
"I believe so"
"Believe so?"
"More like I hope so, I've never been away for months"
"True, if we need to pick something up we can"
I nod and head on the bus.
There's two tour buses, one for me and Damon and the other is Carter's, then there's a truck with band equipment.
The bus is like the camper basically, but instead of one bed, there's two bunks.
"First city here we come" Damon says next to me.
"Which is?"
"Dallas Texas"
I nod and sit on the couch.
"You ok Payson?"
Truthfully, no now while Damon is on tour, I will be modeling and then have to interview and prove that I'm not using Damon, but when in reality we're both using each other.
"I'm fine"
"Bull crap no your not"
Wow not a curse word but I've never herd him say 'bull crap'.
"It's true"
"Liar no your not, tell me Payson we got hours to talk now"
I sigh "can I really prove to this media that I'm worth it?"
"Payson, once people start seeing your not just a waitress but your for real then they will love you, others see you as amazing"
I nod.
"Hey" he grabs my hand.
We're alone, he has never grabbed my hand alone with him, only in public.
"They'll believe us, just takes time"
I can't say any words, so I just nod.
He smiled a bit and then said "we got a long trip, what do we do now?"
Hmm, I'm not sure what people do while on tour.
"I don't know, what do you usually do?"
"Play video games, write songs, sleep as much as I can, depends who's on tour could hang with them, but on the bus not much really"
"Maybe we could play never have I ever" I say.
"Ok ,didn't think you would say that"
"Why?" I challenged cracking a smile.
"Because I don't know, you really want to?"
"Yes"
"Alright let's make this fun, whoever gets to 10 fingers first wins free food from anywhere they want" Damon said.
Now this kinda scares me, i know his taste is expensive.
"Come on are we scared now?" Damon asked.
"No let's do it"
We shake on it and he said "I'll start, never have I ever shoplifted"
I shook my head and kept my fingers down.
"Never have I ever, gone skinny dipping"
I know he probably has, come on put the finger up.
"Come on you know you probably have"
"Actually no I haven't" Damon says.
He has to be lying.
Then the bus stops.
"Damon I just got a radio call, Carter's bus is broken down" the driver said.
"I'll see what's going on"
He gets up and turn a to me "we are not done with this" and leaves to go outside.
I look out the window and Carter gets out of his bus and meets up with Damon, they talk for a bit and then eventually Carter came in.
"What happened?" I asked.
Damon sat down where he was and Carter on the other end of me.
"Bus broke down, now i have to stay with you guys till we reach our destination but my tour bus will come once it gets fixed" Carter told us.
"So your staying tonight?" I ask.
"Yeah you guys have an extra bunk"
Wait so that means, this is odd.
I nod without saying anything.
"So what are we doing?"
"We we're playing never have I ever, and whoever wins has to buy the person food" Damon says.
"I'm in"
"But before we can move on Damon has to confess that he has gone skinny dipping"
Carter laughed and said "i don't believe he has actually maybe he went in his underwear but I don't think naked"
"Dang it I thought I got him, ok what about you Carter?" I say.
"Nope"
I sigh and Carter says the next one "never have I ever Been kicked out of the bar"
Damon our a finger up.
I shake my head and just not say anything with a crack of a smile.
"What Payson?"
"Nothing"
"Hey I'm winning right now so "
I shake my head. Yeah I know I'm the odd one here and never done anything crazy.
"Never have I ever found a date on a dating app"
Carter put his finger up and I was shocked "a celebrity on a dating app?" I laughed.
"I was lonely so yes but it turned out terrible"
Me and Damon laughed a bit "I just thought celebrity's never went on dating apps"
"Well you met one who did"
Ok my turn "never have I ever used someone else toothbrush"
Damon pit his finger up, I looked at him disgusted.
"Who's did you use Damon?" I asked.
"Sorry man but I used yours" he looked at Carter.
"Ewwa when?"
"The last time I stayed at your place"
"That soon man your gross and didn't tell me, now I know what I'm buying and throwing away"
I chuckled and then Carter said "never have I ever wet my pants while watching a horror movie"
I put my finger up, come on one of the most embarrassing ones yet.
Damon and Carter laughed and Damon asked "when?"
"Me and Taylor were watching a horror film a few months back at her house and I don't like horror movies so yeah"
They laughed a bit and we kept going, one of them was snuck out of the house which Damon and Carter did together, never did, another was ghosted someone and Damon did once but she was a freak anyways who really knows though, another was lied about your age now I admit yes I've done this just to get in the a PG 13 movies me and a few friends told our parents we were going to watch a PG movie but not really Damon and Carter we're shocked about that.

Eventually Damon and Carter were in the running lead but in the end
"Never have I ever fell asleep on the toilet" Damon said.
Nope none.
"Never have I ever dated more than one person at once" Carter said.
Damon our his finger up.
That's gross, and why did I do this again?
To help him and myself out but now I see why he never has serious relationships.
"I win so you both owe me food"
"Fine you win but next time I'll be the winner" Carter said.
"You both are something, Carter you using a dating app and Damon you dating two girls"
"Yeah but we've gotten better, I'm single and Damon found you which you two are cute" Carter said.

If he only knew we were fake.

Damon got up and left for the back and Carter said "don't worry that was three years ago, he's different around you I can see he's happy with you"
I nod and say "thanks that means a lot"
Damon comes back and Carter goes to the bathroom.
When I know he's gone I ask Damon lowly so Carter don't hear "so does that means we have to sleep in the same bunk?"
"Yes but it's only for one night, tomorrow we will be in the hotel and separate beds"
I sigh.
"We'll be fine, I will keep my distance and you will as well, we have a curtain to so we can pull that in"
"Alright"

Carter comes out and Damon finds a place to eat and me and cater both pay for Damon's food which was some of my pay check from the fake dating.

Damon orders a burger with fries and Carter orders a burger with curly fries. I order a chicken sandwich with sweet potato curly fries.

We eat on the bus talking and just getting to know each other more on Damon and Carter sneaking out as teenagers to go hang with friends, Carter and Damon doing YouTube together and having there own channels and how they got discovered, them having teenage girlfriends but figured they both were using Carter and Damon because they were getting bigger in fame so they both broke up.

After dinner they both played video games and I just wrote some more.

Eventually I went to put my pajamas on which was sweat pants and a tee shirt, I brushed my teeth and washed my face with the stuff Alice and Tina gave me.
I walked out of the bathroom and got in bed and fell asleep.

Eventually I felt a body and I jumped "hey it's me" I herd Damon whispered.
"Ok"
He laid down and shut the curtain and turned over to face the curtain and fell asleep.

It was a bit crammed but it worked for it being a bus.

I woke up and felt arms around me.
I looked down and there was arms around my waist.
I turn my head and it's Damon sleeping still.

I wonder when he did this.

I just stayed but now I realize I have to pee so bad.
But should I wake Damon up?
I don't want to but then again I do because I have to go, and I don't think he wants me peeing on him.

"Damon" I whisper
"Mm" he mumbles
"Damon"
"What?" He said eyes still closed with a sleepy voice.
"I need to go to the bathroom"
He opens his eyes and notices his arms are around me.
He let's go and opens the curtain and gets up.
I get up and say "thanks" and got to the bathroom.
I do my duty and walk out.
"Hey I'm sorry I didn't notice-"
I cut him off knowing that he was embarrassed.
"It's ok"
"Sure?"
"Yes"
"Thanks" he walks to the bathroom and get the day started.
His arms felt warm, comforting, and I didn't notice at first.
Damon walks out and he was wearing a pair of shorts with a black tank top showing off his tattoos and broad shoulders.
Wow even when he wakes up with his messy hair he looks good.
I noticed the bus was stopped and we both walked to the main area and were at the hotel in our first destination Dallas Texas.
"Me and Carter are going to go for a run later but you can explore but with a body guard" Damon told me.
"Really? A body gaurd"
"I announced you Payson yes to block off the people because they want to hear from you"
"Alright"
"Just trust me Payson"

Can I trust him? With his past I don't know, but I have to now, I am fake dating him.
But if I wasn't, well I wouldn't even be dating him for real anyways, me and him, we are complete opposites, I would never fit into his world and he would never fit into my world.
But how this happened is just crazy, never in my life would I think of fake dating someone, that someone being Damon Young.
