Yutsuki Pov
My eyes shot open, squinting the next second due to the blinding morning light. I sat up on my bed and looked at the time, a little past 1 in the afternoon.
A short knock came from outside the room, coming inside right after I gave them permission. They brought in food that looks appropriate enough to be called lunch, amount wise.
"The madames have ordered my lady to be present for afternoon tea later." They informed me after setting up the table, excusing themselves outside.
'I like tea, but it always tastes gross when you're in front of terrible people.' I looked out the balcony once again, seeing different guards but same positions this time.
I headed over to the bathroom connected to my room and washed my face, swiftly kicking and punching the air in the process, since I might have to awaken my inner jujitsu legend self later.
While eating my meal, I scrolled to the few numbers on my phone and called one of them. They answered the call on the third ring.
"You think you can just call on such a busy time after ignoring me yesterday?"
'What's he sulking for?'
"Kojiro-sama, come pick me up, I'll send you the address later." I pleaded, knowing fully well that I'll need some sort of transportation, and I don't even have my wallet or car with me.
"Why would you need me to pick you up?"
"I was kidnapped, that's why."
I heard a fit of coughs from the other line, clearing his throat while trying to process the information I just told him.
"Oh don't worry, I'm not in grave danger or anything- they won't hurt me but it sure hurts seeing their faces."
"Where are you even?"
"Prison."
"What did you do this time?" He said, apparent disappointment in his tone.
"Hey! You make it sound like it's the usual for me to be imprisoned! How insulting!"
"Yes, yes, just text me the address later." He chuckled out then hung up curtly.
I finished up my meal and stood up, trying to speed up the digestion. After a while, the maids entered my room to clean up the table and left some clothes on my bed for me to wear.
I inspected the clothes and brought them with me to the bath, reluctantly needing to wait a little more before my escape accomplice comes.
Finishing up the bath and heading downstairs, I readied my guts and tried to lengthen my patience in preparation to meet the witch trio of this mansion.
"Lady Yutsuki is here." An escort announced to the people inside the room, knocking thrice.
A faint 'come in' was heard as the door was opened and closed after I entered the sunroom. The three of them were seated around a small table with tea and pastries on top, and of course, another chair was placed in front of mother.
I sat down on that chair and poured myself some tea, waiting for them to talk.
"My, Yutsuki, you have grown up quite well haven't you?" My second aunt complimented, looking at me while adjusting her glasses.
"Oh dear, you're right!"
"She resembles our sister after all, it's a given."
I cleared my throat, halting them from their worthless flatteries. "Please get straight to the point."
They would always do this, thinking that if they softened me up then I would politely obey, it already happened too many times to the point that I'm surprised they're still using this method.
"Your supposed to be fiancé and in-laws revoked the marriage proposal quite a while ago, we just heard news last week that he had already married." The woman in front of me said, scrutinizing every move I made.
"Congratulations to them then, I hope they live a happily married life."
"That was supposed to be you."
I bit my tongue to stop myself from flipping out this early into the talk. My phone vibrated for a moment, making me peek at it briefly then smiling to myself.
"If only you weren't stubborn, then you would have been married to a wealthy family, free of worries." She kept on blabbering about what could have been, as if she were the one who would regret her whole life.
"Ah, honestly, how unlucky I am to have my daughter's father and herself to both be letdowns. My biggest regret is letting your father take you away fr-"
"Biggest regret?" I interrupted her speech where she only talks about herself and what she wants like always. "Guess what, mother. Your biggest regret is the best blessing that I've ever been given in this shitty life."
I stood up, tumbling over the chair behind me in the process. "I'll be leaving now, aunts." I tilted my head to look at both of them, faking a smile.
"You are disgracing the Shindo family name, Yutsuki!"
A sarcastic smile was plastered on my face. A selfish woman who forces her ideals to others, making them mistake manipulation for love, and this room happens to have three of those kinds.
"Lucky for you, I have long abandoned that surname. After all, I'm not Shindo Yutsuki aren't I?"
I backed up against the door and ran straight to the window which had a unused balcony outside.
"I'm.. Yutsuki Alire!!"
The glass broke with my flying kick, I hopped on the railings of the balcony and jumped as far as I can from it, rolling over the grass when I landed. Kojiro already sent me a text earlier saying he's near the front entrance.
Some guards already started chasing after me, and because of our legs size difference, managed to catch up. I jabbed them in the stomach even before they could touch me, swiftly using arms and swung a left hook behind me, hitting a man square in the face.
I reached the brick fence wall, successfully climbing on top and jumping over to the outside. I noticed Kojiro immediately stopping in front of me in his motorbike.
"Fuck you bitches! I'm a free woman! Yahooo!" I held up a middle finger to the guards trying to chase me, quickly riding on the motorbike and urging Kojiro to just drive as fast as he can.
I put on my helmet while balancing myself, relief washing over my entire body as we went farther away from that mansion.
"It's been a while since I did a pretend prison break.." I let out a chuckle, cheering for my awesomeness.
"Whose mansion was that?" Kojiro asked loudly due to the noise the engine is making.
"Just some rich family's I screwed over!"
