”Meals are tastier when you eat with a bunch of people.”
“What he said.” The group barged inside Cherry’s room where the ‘Kaoru charity dinner’, as Joe said it to be, is being served at. Joe basically scammed him. Their energy draining trip to the beach was over, but now they’re all in one place for the main event on this trip.
The Miyakojima mountain hot springs.
Cherry’s face was totally dumbfounded as Joe bought in the broke kids and adult from the neighboring inn.
“Okay! This big brother here is treating all of you today!” The gorilla man said as he pulled Cherry by the shoulder.
“Why are you so arbitrarily-“
“Thanks for the food!”
They sat down and ate their share of the meal as Cherry and Joe continued to bicker. “Yutsuki, you too?!” Cherry asked just after almost beating Joe up.
“When did you ever see me refuse free food?”
The pink haired man sighed in defeat and ate his share, thinking about the food expenses which is actually no big deal for him. The inn’s special alcohol was served after the dinner, Yutsuki secretly kept on refilling Shadow’s cup just for the sake of laughing at his drunk state later.
A few moments of drinking later, she successfully made the lovesick florist drunk.
“Manager!! I… I.. I’m in love with how you work!” He said as he clung onto Joe, mistaking him to be the female manager of the flower shop.
“Stop it! I’m not your manager!” Joe kept on pushing the drunk man’s head away, the stench of alcohol probably becoming too much for him to handle. “Let me go! Let me go!”
Yutsuki took out her phone and snapped some pictures of the two, laughing at their iconic faces in the process.
The female didn’t really have high alcohol tolerance unlike Joe and Cherry, but that doesn’t mean that she didn’t like drinking. Despite knowing the consequences like headaches, dizziness or vomiting, Yutsuki sipped on her cup filled with alcohol, savoring the sweet but bitter taste of the beverage.
“So, what’s good about alcohol?” Miya asked while watching Joe try to put Shadow to sleep.
Reki looked at the boy with a smug grin from beside Cherry, “Little boys might not understand-“
His hand tried to reach for Cherry’s untouched cup but was quickly slapped away by the older man’s hand fan.
Carla suddenly lit up, saying how underage drinking is prohibited, making Reki sweat drop about the fact that an AI assistant scolded him.
“Reki~”
A very drunk Yutsuki stood up and hugged the red head from behind, startling him. “Mi dulce Reki! Como pudo ese bastardo lastimarte?! Ja?!! Adam, te matare!”
“Yutsuki-nee! I don’t understand Spanish!” Reki wiggled around to gently shake the girl off him, an embarrassed flushed face was the result of it being a while since Yutsuki last hugged him like this.
The last time was, well, when they were still the same height, which was years ago.
Cherry pulled her away from Reki, letting the latter breathe as the girl was flailing her arms around, mindlessly searching for her beloved child.
Unfortunately for her, Cherry swiftly carried her on his shoulder like she was some sack of potatoes.
“Why did you even drink?” He asked, carefully sitting her down on a cushioned chair like the one Carla was placed at.
