🌙 Chapter 12 🌙

Yutsuki Pov

"I see yooouu~ Reki!" I jumped at the back of the red haired boy and clinged onto him like a koala, making him spin around in circles trying to look at me.

"Yutsuki-nee, how'd you even know it was me?" He asked, putting me down back on the ground and facing me.

I patted him on the shoulder, a complacent expression on my face. "Even if you wear a full body mascot costume, I would still be able to tell-"

"-after all, my radar's set to 'Reki'" I ended, making my ears twitch by will.

He let out a short chuckle, quickly being replaced by a sad smile. He turned his back to me, about to walk away but he spotted Langa, who was likely looking for him.

Reki panicked for a good second before he pulled me with him to crouch down and covered my hair with his arm.

The group we mixed in with stared at us weirdly, confused as to why we were there. "Why me as well?" I whispered to Reki after Langa passed us by.

"You stand out, and Langa will probably come near me and you if he sees you." He explained then let me go.

The lights went out and the stage lit up with small explosives one by one, before Adam went out from below the stage like some performer.

I felt a nudge on my shoulder, glancing at Reki who also looked back at me. "I'll be going to find a spot somewhere, I think you should go back to your group." He suggested then waved his hand at me while walking away.

"Text me if you're leaving okay?" I yelled loudly enough for him to hear. He didn't turn his head around and only nodded.

''Your' group huh? Does he feel as though he's not included in our group anymore?' I kept my gaze at his back until it totally disappeared from sight.

I let out a heavy sigh, which didn't go unnoticed by Joe and Cherry, but didn't probe any further. Seeing Reki like that never failed to upset me, though I wouldn't dare show him an unhappy side of me when he's like that.

'White Eden : Wedding... Beef? Idiots always comes up with idiotic names.' I shook my head after I read the title of the tournament as Shadow already moved up after winning against a guy called Harry.

"Then, on to the next beef... This time the skater is.." Adam smiled as he read the card he picked out. "Snow!"

The crowd cheered for Langa, who looked up at the stage, slightly nervous to know who he's up against.

"Ah~ This makes my heart race!"

'Ew.'

"The opponent is... Joe." All excitement seemed to drain from his voice after he found out it wasn't him who'll be racing with Langa.

"Let's have a good one.. Snow." I heard Joe tell Langa from beside him. A large hand rested itself on top of my head, before moving it around with my head like I'm some fucking clutch handle of a car.

"Cheer for me okay?" Joe said, winking at me before heading to the starting line.

'Hell no. Gorillas can do fine whether people cheer for them or not.'
