Jinyoung comforted Dae for the next hour, he was in shock, but he needed to be there for Dae. She was the one who grew up with these people, and now they have abandoned her without a word. Once Dae was barely stable, Jinyoung left to call Twice, specifically Mina.

"Jinyoung? What's up?" Mina's tired voice rolled through the line, showing Jinyoung that he had woken her up.

"I need one of your members to pick Dae and me up. There was an emergency."

This seemed to wake Mina up instantly. "Emergency? Where are Stray Kids? Is Dae okay?"

"Stray Kids disappeared. They left in a truck about an hour ago. We don't know where they are. Dae told me they just told her they're leaving. Dae's broken at the moment."

Mina sighed, "I'll be there in about 40 minutes. Pack a few bags you'll be staying in the flat that you used to stay in. I knew Stray Kids were up to something."

"Thank you, Mina."

"Of course, let Dae know I love her. Goodbye for now."

The call ended, and Jinyoung rushed back to Dae, who was still curled up by the window, her phone to her ear.

More tears slipped down her face as she let the phone fall to the floor. Jinyoung noticed all the contacts she tried to call.

Jisung 4 times, Changbin 5 times, Hyunjin 2 times, Seungmin 6 times, Chan 14 times, Jeongin 8 times, Minho 3 times, and Felix 18 times.

The stuffed animal Hyunjin gave her for Christmas was pressed close to her curled-up chest. Jinyoung assumed she got that while he was on the phone.

Jinyouung looked at his feet awkwardly, not knowing how to tell Dae to pack her bags, to leave as Stray Kids did to her. To abandon her childhood home because her fathers did.

"Mina is coming to get us in about 30 minutes."

Dae barely nodded, but it was enough for Jinyoung to notice.

"You should, uh, pack a few bags."

This made Dae break once more. She placed her head into her knees and sobbed.

"I don't want to leave Youngie! What if they come back? Where will I be?"

Jinyoung took a deep breath, mentally preparing himself for what he's about to say.

"Dae, Love, they aren't coming back anytime soon. It's time to move on to a new age of independence."

"Shut up!" Dae screamed, covering her ears from anything else Jinyoung was about to say. "They're not gone!"

"They're gone, Baby. I'm gonna leave you to pack your bags. I need to pack my own."

And with that, he left.

Dae didn't pack, however, and instead just sat on the floor, continuing to cry.

A knock on the door stopped Jinyoung's mindless scrolling on his phone. He finished packing about ten minutes ago.

"Mina, please come in," He greeted. "I have my suitcases in my room. Let me grab them."

"Where's Dae?" Mina questioned, a worried expression on her face. Jinyoung noticed she was still in her pajamas, which were had penguins on the pant leg.

"She should still be in her room. I haven't checked on her since we last called. She should be done packing."

Mina rushed up the stairs, worried about her favorite little mafia member.

"Dae?" Mina knocked on her door, opening it slowly. "How are you doing?"

"Everyone's gone, Mina. Dad, Minnie, Binnie, Jinnie, Sungie., Seungminnie, Foxy. .. Lixxie. Lixxie Mina! Lixxie left me!"

Mina noticed there wasn't a single suitcase packed.

"Oh, you poor thing," Mina walked over to Dae and knelt. "They'll come back soon, I promise."

"Do you know where they are, Mina?" Dae's helpless pleading for her selfish fathers broke Mina's heart into pieces.

Mina shook her head. "I wish I could tell you. But I don't. I need you to listen to me though."

Dae propped her head up, tears welling in her eyes.

"We have to go to the dorms now. I know, I know you don't want to, but it's for the best. We have to keep you safe while your fathers are gone."

Dae nodded. Mina smiled and stood up, holding out her hand for Dae to take. Dae took it slowly, and Mina helped her up.

Dae crashed into the older girl, not crying, but she just needed the support.

"Mina?"

"Yes, sweet thing?"

"Can I stay in your room until my fathers get back?"

Mina smiled, nodding her head. "Of course, baby."

The two girls packed Dae's bags, grabbing sentimental items for the temporary home.

The drive to Twice's home was a quiet one. Mina drove with one hand, holding Dae's hand in the other. When they got to Twice's dorm flat, Jinyoung and Dae departed from each other. Jinyoung gave Dae a gentle kiss on the cheek, knowing she wasn't mentally stable for actual affection.

When Mina opened the door, there was no one there.

"Everyone's asleep. Other than Jihyo, who I woke up to tell her I would be getting you two."

Dae nodded, still holding Mina's hand.

"Come on now, we gotta get you to bed."

The next morning Dae took off work. Jinyoung taught alone with Dae's lesson plans. The ones that she prepared before her fathers... disappeared. Dae stayed with Mina in her classroom, under her care.

However, that went to waste when JYP himself burst through her doors while Mina was teaching, gun in hand.

"Dae Bang, I need you to come with me for interrogation."

Dae knew instantly what it was about. Her fathers' disappearance. She put together that the 'mission' they went on wasn't given to them by JYP. Meaning, they're going rogue.

Dae nodded, and JYP withdrew his gun. Dae followed JYP to his office, where she found Jinyoung waiting for them.

"Sit down, you two." Immediately the two of them took a seat nervously in the comfortable leather chairs. "I'm going to ask this plain and simple and I expect the truth. Where are Stray Kids?"

"An unknown mission," Dae responded. "They only told me they were leaving."

"Any idea where?"

Dae shook her head. "I want to find them as much as you do, sir."

"I understand that, but I need all the information you have to better lead us to find them. Jinyoung? Do you have any insight?"

Jinyoung shook his head. "I always slept through their meetings, I have nothing."

JYP sighed, understanding that this interrogation was a bust. He dismissed the couple, clearly disappointed.

Returning to Mina's classroom, Dae found Ji waiting for her, with a single dandelion in hand.

Once making eye contact with Dae her eyes lit up.

"Dae-Dae!!" Ji exclaimed, running up to the older girl. She held up the small flower and gave it to Dae. "I heard you were having a bad day, so I got this flower for you. I hope you like it!"

Dae smiled, her eyes swelling with tears at this sweet gesture.

"Thank you sweet thing. I will treasure it forever."
