"I remember telling you, a while ago, that I would take you to America Youngie." Dae teased, helping the boy a few months older than herself pack.
"Yeah, and I remember telling you I didn't want to be a burden on your family."
"Yeah, well now you're a part of the family, so."
After the slight conflict with homing spaces, Stray Kids and YoungDay still have plenty of vacation time to go to America. Thus now, the whole family is packing their bags to - hopefully - spend a whole week in America; their last trip being cut short due to work.
Jinyoung didn't want to show this, but he was rather nervous about going to the U.S. He didn't speak English very well (well, actually he only knew the very basics, but he told Dae he was just about fluent), and he doesn't know much about the American culture.
"What state are we going to?"
Dae paused her packing, thinking about what Felix told her last night.
"Dae," Felix tapped on her door, slowing opening it in the process. Dae looked at her clock, reading 1:47 am. Both of them knew that Chan would scold the hell out of Dae if he saw she was awake at this hour, but Felix didn't care; it was break and Dae isn't a small child anymore. Because of this fact, Felix is very flexible with Dae's sleep schedule.
"Lixxie," Dae set her phone down, propping herself up on her bed. "what's up?"
"Have you finished packing?"
Dae pauses all her movements, looking curiously at him "I'm sorry?"
"Packing?" Felix stared at her like she was stupid, an eyebrow perked and his neck was strained forward to exaggerate his confusion.
"Yes, I know what the word packing is Felix. I can also say it in English; packing"
"Did Jisung forget to tell you and Jinyoung?" The once puzzled and annoyed expression on Felix's face morphed into one of shock and fear. "How could he forget?"
Dae paused a moment and just stared at Felix, waiting for him to elaborate.
"We're leaving for America tomorrow night, the two of you were supposed to pack tonight so we could be ready by tomorrow morning."
"WHAT?" Dae shouted, her eyes widening as if she saw a ghost. She realized the volume of her expression and clamped her own hand on her mouth for a brief second before releasing her hold. "what part of America are we going to?"
"California again."
"How could you forgot telling us we're leaving the country tomorrow, Felix?"
"It was Jisung's job!"
Dae rolled her eyes, flung her feet off her bed, and dangled them, thinking.
"Jinyoung is already asleep, so I'll help him pack tomorrow morning."
"and you?"
"Guess I'm staying up a little later."
"California. Like the previous time we were in America, Chan likes it there, so we go often."
Jinyoung made a sound of recognition as he continued packing. "And we are leaving... when?"
"tonight."
"And why are we just finding out about this?"
"Long story short, Jisung forgot to tell us."
Jinyoung rolls his eyes, shrugging his shoulders. "Is he usually like this?"
