Three weeks in. Three weeks in, and Dae's going insane. She could kill someone on the spot. And she did.
Jinyoung noticed Ji had been quieter more and more since he's seen her. They don't see each other very often, but Jinyoung sometimes visits her in class on his break. However, whenever he visits her, her voice additionally loses its spark; it's magic. Her voice lost its happy, joyful ring to it. The once cheery "Jinyoung!" he received melted into "Oh hi, Jinyoung."
It concerned Jinyoung, to say the least. He was worried that the mafia world was finally corrupting his sweet, adorable sister. However, it was much worse.
"I'm worried about Ji," Jinyoung told Dae one evening in their shared dorm as they were eating dinner.
This statement made Dae's heart quicken immediately. "What about Ji? I haven't seen her since... three weeks ago. When she gave me the flower."
"She's lost the happy cheer in her voice, Dae. I'm worried Jackson really fucked up."
Dae sighed, setting her fork down. "I'll talk to her tomorrow. I'll figure out what's wrong and bring her hopes up. No one can refuse my charms!"
Jinyoung smiled slightly, happy to have a Dae in his life.
During Dae's break, she found Ji in her combat class. She happily opened the door to Dahyun and Chaeyoung's room. But instead of seeing Ji's bright expression, what instead she saw broke her heart.
Ji was getting bullied.
Three boys, all clearly older by many years. She knew them; she taught them. They just didn't rank up.
All happiness and hope were sucked from Dae's soul as she saw someone she thought of as a daughter being picked on. She saw them pull her hair and laugh, and Ji just sat there, arms wrapped around her stomach and tears welled in her eyes. Dae could tell this had been going on for a while, and instead of melancholy filling her every being, it was anger. Anger in every fiber of her being for her sweet and gentle friend. For Ji.
"Chaeyoung, Dahyun!" Dae cheered, walking up to the two girls she used to sub for. "Can I borrow those three boys over there?" She asked, pointing at the men that have been harassing one of her closest friends.
The two girls looked over in the direction she had been pointed and came to see what she had been talking about. They were aware that they have been making fun of and abusing Ji, and they've done everything in their professional power to stop it, but there was no stopping them.
The two girls understand what Dae was doing and returned a smile back.
"Sure! Have fun with them."
Dae made eye contact with Ji, and for a split second, hope filled Ji's eyes. The boys, confused, got up and followed Dae outside.
"So!" Dae started, gripping the gun that was strapped to her side. "Tell me, what's your relationship with my dearest friend Ji?"
The three men got nervous, knowing what this was about.
"She's nothing but a friend," one of them tried to defend.
Dae wickedly laughed, the suddenly her laugh turned to a snarl and she spits in the boy's face.
"Oh shut up!" Dae furiously whined, throwing her hands up in the air. "Shut up! You don't have to put up the fake act with me. I know what you have been doing to her, I can see it written on her face, correct?"
Shame filled the boys' faces. "Yes ma'am," one of them said, looking at the floor.
Dae nodded, fury clearly on her face. "Right. Now I want to make one thing clear. I am not a joke and neither is anyone close to me. If they are close to me that's because they are worthy of being close to me. We are powerful. Now Ji has a gentle soul but has so much potential. Do I make myself clear?"
They nodded.
"Now that I have that out of the way, now how to deal with you guys."
"Deal with us?"
She nodded, "I think Detention is the perfect room for you guys."
The boys' eyes widened. They've heard rumors of 'Detention' but haven't actually seen or been in the basement of JYPE.
Dae pulled out her gun, holding it towards the men. "I don't wanna hear a word out of any of you, and if you even think of running away I will shoot you on the fucking spot."
Dae opened the door to Chaeyoung and Dahyun's classroom signaling them over.
"Keep an eye on them. I'm getting Momo and Jackson."
They nodded and Dae ran off.
After getting Momo and Jackson, they met Chaeyoung in detention, where she found the boys perfectly shackled to the wall. This gave her flashbacks to the time where she was in that same position, blacklisted by her company and a knife in her abdomen. But this wasn't the time for sympathy, they hurt her Ji to an endless extent.
Blood. Dae saw nothing but blood as she watched Momo and Jackson torture the 3 boys. It wasn't in her job to torture; it wasn't in her job description, so she didn't take part in the action.
Soon enough, the three boys were very clearly dead and Dae smiled in satisfaction. No one would hurt her Ji again.
Unless...
