BTS proceed with JYP's request cautiously, but they advance nonetheless.
"I hope you know this doesn't mean we trust you, JYP," Namjoon snaps, setting his pistol on the table.
"I'm aware," JYP cheekily comments. "You're just desperate."
"That's no way to talk to someone who has quite assistive information to go along with your traitor case," Seokjin remarks. "They've been gone for, what? Three months? And you still have no clue. With all the hackers and spies you have, that's quite pathetic."
"I'd even like to turn the tables and say you're just as desperate," Yoongi concluded.
JYP deadpanned; they had him there. He shook his thoughts away and fakely smiled at the six boys. That quick counting stopped his proceeds into the meeting. "I haven't had many interactions, but I've had enough to know there's supposed to be seven members."
The members' faces turned into something less than enthusiastic. Expressions of outrage, melancholy, and dread filled the faces of the six boys.
"We wouldn't have been too bothered with Stray Kids' pestering; would've held the situation by ourselves. Nonetheless, when they killed J-Hope in cold blood, there had to be someone else pulling the strings. However, we were wrong about that. It was just them with a vengeance."
The rest of the members seemed to nod at Yoongi's statement.
JYP stared at Yoongi, shocked his group dared to mess with the second most powerful mafia in Korea. He composed himself and slid his poker face back on. "I see. Why don't we sit down and discuss this further?"
JYP had learned Stray Kids have been going on these 'rogue' missions for longer than he was aware. These missions had begun before Dae got sent to detention.
They were small at first: money heists. Small amounts of money were taken from big groups. What did they need this money for?
BTS confessed a lot of annoyances they've experienced in this year period. With this new information, came more impossible questions. The main two being "How?" and "Why?"
It was hard to convince the rival group that this wasn't assigned. That their assumed alliance was still intact the last time he checked.
"So where do we go from here?" Namjoon asked.
JYP pursed his lips, deep in thought. There were many ways he could go from here, however, he was a businessman. And he always had to do what was best for business: efficient and helpful.
"Well," he started. "I don't know how much you'll like this idea."
"An idea is an idea," Jin convinced.
"Why don't we form an alliance?" JYP evaluated the mixed looked he got from the six members and continued "Stray Kids aren't a part of JYP anymore. I truthfully haven't officially notified anyone of that. But they've been removed from the database ever since they removed themselves from our tracking software. And when they deliberately went out of their ways to remove contact."
"Then why do you care anymore?" Taehyung chimed in.
"They're not a part of your company," Jungkook finished.
"They know where this place is, they know who goes here, they know my groups and where they live. And contract states that if they leave the company, they will be killed. They are fully aware of this term when they signed the contract and it should be followed through."
BTS contemplated their choices; this decision was risky for both parties.
However, Namjoon extended his hand across the table, conclusion for his group. JYP mirrored his actions, clasping his hand with Namjoons.
"Glad we have an agreement."
"How are we going to find them?" Taehyung cut in. "It's great we are now in agreement about the issue. But we both had no luck finding them in the few month period they've been in the shadows."
JYP wasted no time answering. "I've always had this plan. It's slightly immoral, so I've refrained."
"Go on."
"Had you a clue Stray Kids had a daughter?"
The students had been released from the basements about a half-hour ago. Youngday and the rest of the staff who were in the basement were still in the dark about the intrusion. Class got canceled for the rest of the day, everyone -teachers included- were a little shaken up about the events that just occurred.
"Dae!" Yeji screamed, barreling down the hallway. Her eyes were blown wide and it appeared she ran all the way to Youngday's classroom from the lobby with no pause.
"Yeji?" Dae questions. "You were with the intruder, weren't you?"
"Yes! Dae-"
"Is everything sorted out?"
"Dae I don't know!"
"Well, get on with it. What happened?" Jinyoung cut in.
"It was BTS."
Dae's eyes widened meanwhile Jinyoung's expression tilted to one of confusion.
"B...T...S?" Jinyoung questioned.
"You really are stupid," Dae comments. "BTS is the second most strong mafia group in the world. Next to Stray Kids."
"Well, what were they doing here?" Jinyoung asked.
Both the younger eyes turned to Yeji's.
"They wanted Stray Kids." Yeji pressed. "There were only six of them instead of the strong seven. I believe Stray Kids killed one of their members."
Dae let out of audible gasp.
"I don't think I was supposed to notify you of any of this. But I believe it would be safe to rule you as...well, unsafe."
Dae exhaled a slow breath. "Thank you Yeji. I will take measures in securing my well-being. But you do the same for yourself as well."
Yeji nodded and embraced Dae. It felt like some sort of conclusion. As if this was goodbye to the Yeji Dae was familiar with. "I love you, Dae."
Jinyoung walked with Dae back to their shared flat.
"I think you should leave, tonight. Or as soon as you can," Jinyoung talked low. He didn't know who could be listening. "Your lack of refuge is their one-way ticket to getting Stray Kids back. You need to get out of here. Not just for your safety, but for theirs as well."
"Where will I go?"
"Anywhere but here, Dae. Please, I don't want you to leave. But I want you alive. I want you happy and safe, Dae. Please, I need you gone by sunrise."
They made it to the home they grew to appreciate. Immediately, they began to pack. Only one suitcase, they agreed. More than one would be too hard to lug around. They packed all black clothes. And a lot of spare cash.
Jinyoung met her at the front door. She was ready to leave. Wearing her black hoodie and the keys of a spare car that was once owned by Stray Kids, she exhaled a sharp breath.
"I love you, Sunshine. I'll see you back here one day."
They met together in a warm embrace, Dae slipped in a kiss on the cheek as well.
Jinyoung sighed, wiping away a stray tear.
Dae opened the door and began her last mission a part of JYP.
Leaving.
However, out by the spare car she owned, was seven men. All armed and pointed at her. She should have expected that they knew she was fleeing. But didn't Yeji state that one of the members had been killed?
"Dae," A familiar voice echoed from the large garage. "You are pathetic."
The young girl turned and began to run away, however, the trigger of a gun was fired from the hands of her old boss.
She fell on the cold concrete clutching her abdomen, hoping everyone will make it out of this alive.
Not just her or Stray Kids. But the entire staff of JYP who helped her make it this far.
