It was about two weeks in when it happened. Dae moved into the dorm flat where Jinyoung stayed, not needing Mina's support anymore. Even though Mina still checked on Dae regularly, which Dae appreciated even if she didn't admit it.
Dae was fast asleep in her single room, for it was around three in the morning. That was until her phone rang rather loudly, startling her awake.
She picked up the device, instinctively going to press the decline button, until she looked at the contact.
Father Lixxie
Dae never pressed the 'accept call' button quicker in her entire life. Wide awake, she pressed the phone to her ear.
"Dae?" She heard Felix's deep voice ring through her right ear.
Dae's eyes filled with tears, unrealistically happy to hear her father's voice.
"I'm here, Dad. I'm here."
"Oh my goodness, Dae!" Felix exclaimed quietly. "Look, I'm not supposed to be talking to you right now, but I just had to hear your voice and make sure you're safe."
"Lixxie, where are you?" Dae questioned quietly.
Felix sighed, "I can't tell you. I know you Dae. And I know if I tell you where we are, you're going to tell JYP."
"I won't!" Dae blurted quickly, unapologetically desperate. "Please Dad, where are you?"
"I love you Dae, and I'm happy I heard your voice," and with that, the line cut dead.
Dae sobbed in her bed, wondering what her fathers were doing.
