Dad, what's going on?

"Goddamn, I'm bored," Dae sighs, slamming her laptop closed. She then placed her head on her now-closed laptop and let out another disappointed breath. "It's been four days. How much longer do I have to stay home?"

Jinyoung convinced Dae to stay home after her nonstop headaches started happening during her teaching. Her headaches have continued since then, not having a sliver of mercy on her poor body.

However, the voices of her fathers have continued to remain during her passing out periods. Their voices have become more vivid and vivid by the day, and she's wondering if this has anything to do with their awaited return.

"Sunshine!" Jinyoung burst, running through the door. "How are you, my love?"

"Fine," Dae responded shortly. She left her room and saw Jinyoung holding a bag of takeout.

"Dae?" Jinyoung questioned, tilting his head to the side. "Is everything alright?"

"Just bored. I don't want to do this any longer."

Jinyoung sighed. "How have your headaches been?"

"Consistent," Dae replied, "They're not gonna go away, mind as well just put me back into work."

Jinyoung sighed once more, seeming like a broken record. "I don't know Dae, it seems too dangerous to put you back."

"Jinyoung, you're not my father. Let me handle myself."

Rolling his eyes, Jinyoung lightly glared at Dae. "Fine."

"Mina!" Dae called to her favorite person on campus. "I'm back!"

Mina smiled cheerfully at Dae, welcoming her back with a warm hug. "Are your headaches gone?"

"Nope! They're worse!" Dae responded in a happier voice than Mina was expecting. It confused Mina.

"Oh, Dae... Why are you here then? You aren't in the correct state to be teaching."

Dae shrugged, brushing off Mina. But before she could respond, red lights filled the school, and the alarms went off. This was no fire drill. This was an intruder in the school.

Mina, Dae, and Jinyoung (who was quietly on his phone in the corner of the room while Mina and Dae had their reunion) quickly sprung to their feet, professionalism and seriousness were written all over their face. Both Youngday and Mina were on the break, so no students were in their classroom.

Twice, Youngday and Got7 all collected the students, leading them to the emergency hideout in the basement. Mina was yelling and instructing students to go to their designated classes and spots. It didn't matter their tier at the moment, their safety was all that mattered.

Jackson was the only one who wasn't professional. He was worried to death about Ji, who has never been in this situation before.

"Ji!" He screamed, pushing through crowds of students. "Ji! Please answer me!"

Dae lets go of Jinyoung's hand and follows Jackson, suddenly worried about her sweet Ji. She is quite short, so finding her was going to be rather difficult.

"Ji!" Jackson helplessly shouted, his voice cracking.

"Jackson!" A small voice yelled back.

"I see her!" Dae yelled, pointing at Dahyun.

Ji was holding Dahyun's hand, fear written in her eyes.

Jackson ran as fast as he could to Ji and embraced her.

"Dad, what's going on?" Ji's eyes held too much fear, and all Jackson wanted to do was take that from her.

"There's someone dangerous here. We need to get to somewhere safe. Will you do that for me?"

Ji nodded. "Don't let go of me, dad."

Dae watched as Jackson held Ji's hand, not a single thought in his head about letting go.

YoungDay efficiently finished collecting all the students, and they sat in the basement as well. Lights off, deadly silent.

Dae knew this had to be about Stray Kids. It was too convenient for it to not. It was just a matter of who Stray Kids pissed off enough to find the school.

Itzy and Day6 were in charge of actually located and disabling any threat in the school. They were surprisingly easy to locate and identify. The group was waiting in the lobby; they weren't hostile. However, they were armed.

"Bangtan?" Yeji questioned, not lowering her gun, but she did tilt her head in confusion.

The rest of Itzy and Day6 had the same reaction. BTS and JYPE weren't on the best terms, but because both forces were powerful, they left each other alone mutually.

"Don't give me that bullshit," Yoongi snapped back. "You know why we're here."

Day6 and Itzy looked at each other, both sharing an expression of disarray. They turned back to BTS and shook their heads.

"I apologize, but we don't know actually."

Yoongi pointed his gun at them, more pissed than the rest of the members.

"Suga," Namjoon warned. Yoongi looked to the leader and hesitantly lowered the weapon. Namjoon turned back to Itzy and Day6 and gave a short, lighthearted smile in apology. "You both really don't know?"

Sungjin spoke up this time. "JYPE has tried their damnest to stay off your part of Korea. We don't want to start another war."

Yoongi laughed at Sungjin's statement.

Namjoon glared at Yoongi. "I really don't think they know. Day6 and Itzy have never wronged us."

"I'm sorry to pry," Yeji started, gaining the attention back to her. "What don't we know?"

Namjoon sighed. "Where are Stray Kids?"

Day6 and Itzy's eyes widened.

"They didn't..." Jae murmured to himself.

"They've gone rogue, so I've heard from JYP," Yeji informs.

"Stray Kids disappeared 3 months ago," Yuna jumps in.

All of BTS' hopes dropped, and you could see it in their eyes.

"I fucking knew it," Taehyung growled at Namjoon. "Now we look like fucking fools here. This whole thing was a bust."

"If you'd allow me to cut in," JYP walked through the doors to enter the lobby. "I don't think this was a bust. You are the missing puzzle piece to getting Stray Kids back here."

"And we should help you because?" Yoongi immediately retorts.

"They're traitors to us. If you help us find them, you do as you please with them."

BTS' lips upturned into sinister smirks at the thought of that.

"Now," JYP concludes. "I'd like to discuss a few things with you all. If you wouldn't mind, will you unarm yourselves? Safety protocol."
