Chapter 9: Elegiac

Veya is left speechless, thoughts running through her head, stuck in a bubble trying to catch air, trying to get out of the bubble and face what's on the other side. face her fears on accepting the fact people leave, and you let people in and accept them to leave afterward. And maybe seeing them happy someplace somewhere. Because some believe people leave and new people come in. 

Veya goes in class, attends one whole class with all the students in one room discussing leadership. Leadership a class where they hone and discover their skills and talents, where dreams formulate and dreams are smartly planned. Everyone was there,Cairo was there she ignored him the whole day last time, she's expecting that he would chat with her. overthinking he won't chat me because I ignored him. But he didn't, he made a move.

@cairo_DLS: Can you help me, I got in the zoom meeting late, what are we doing? 

Veya and Cairo talked again, flirted here and there. Veya's worries and thoughts faded away like everything was okay, no worries, and maybe they can pull whatever relationship they will have in the future.

@cairo_DLS: yay Thanks Veya I Luv you.

@cairo_DLS: do you love me?? 

@VeyaClairesse_:If I say I love you will you love me back? 

@cairo_DLS:Do you love me? 

@VeyaClairesse_: I felt butterflies again Cairo, different ones... and I am honest. In the middle of the field till the goal, I always  was certain it would hit the net. 

@cairo_DLS:I love you too, but you know I can't because Im too young and I know you deserved better. I might not give you what you want, might not meet your needs and I don't want you to been in a relationship as I said. 

@VeyaClairesse_: I know... its been hard thinking about this too from the very beginning. 

Veya wanted to fight for the both of them not letting anyone say things that will come in between, she tried fighting her thoughts and her worries, but it seems like fear took over her body and made her feel nothing. Her body was so numb she never got to reply to Cairo, Cairo asking what will they do and what plan will happen, but Veya's eyes started to tear up. And Cairo knew, she was in tears. 

@cairo_DLS:aw,Veya...I want to hug you tight and let you cry on my chest. I want to hold you... Veya? 

Veya never replied...

Veya cried in her sleep thinking the next step she could take, thinking that she still doesn't want things to end and continue talking, like friends. but her head keeps overthinking and panicking on a million events of what will happen to the both of them. 

will they be awkward, will they still talk? will they still be friends? will all be alright? she was clueless. Mira noticed through the screen something was awfully wrong. something was off. She never asked what was wrong, but continuously played sad songs to keep her company. 

Veya poured her tears out to Mira, talking about the reasons of her tear flowing down her face but still manage to smile. 

"so what happened ate Veya?" Mira asked. Veya laughed and smiled, "oh we just said I love you" Veya replied. Mira was so happy " sana all" Mira replied. Veya suddenly cries again, "but we both are afraid, we both do love each other but it seems complicated. He's an eighth grader, she's in grade 10 soon to be moving up, what are the chances? what are the possibilities of still being together and not. 

"ate Veya, if you can wait for each other... then you both are the strongest lovers Ive seen" Mira explains. "If he can wait and if you can there will be no complications, everything will be alright. continuing the friendship knowing you both love each other and that would motivate you both for the future. I am in no place to say this but, I think you deserve better, but if he is better for you then I hope he is worth fighting for , well waiting for" Mira Added.
