"yes, I am okay, just thinking," Veya answered.
*ding* (Cairo Relied)
"Nothing, just asking.. how are you?" Cairo replied.
"ah haha, Im good just writing an essay...you?" Veya added.
"playing as always" Cairo replied.
"Wanna join?" he added.

"Hey" Gab called.
"do you want to check out places with me? I can pick you up," Gab offered.
Veya getting dizzy chatting with Cairo and in call with Gab she was confused with the topics they were talking about and thinking the same situation with her past chatting Jake while in the hospital hearing stuff about her aunt's condition." wait" Veya thought.
"Veya?" Cairo chatted.
"Veya?" Gab called.
Veya so confused, she's getting hundreds of thoughts, she froze still not replying to Cairo and Gab. She needed a minute, she paused the facetime and haven't read Cairo's text.
In her head:
"What am I thinking?" "what the heck is going on?" after 2 weeks you chat me again? uh after 2 weeks and 2 days correction you chat Me again. Gab is getting dragged into my chaotic mind, poor Gab, but Veya, Veya relax... breathe in and breathe out... Multitasking is my thing but not when it comes to two guys I like, Wait for I like Gab? but I love Cairo? but Cairo seems I don't know? Oh jeez someone please save me.
*Gab ends the call*
"oh no," Veya said.
* veya chatting Gab*
"Im sorry, I just had to do something" Veya apologized.
"no it's fine," Gab replied.
"so Saturday? check the places out? I'll pick you up?" Gab asked.
"yes sure okay," Veya answered
"great, 9 am!" Gab added.
* she chats Cairo*
"We can play later at 10?" Veya said
"ah no I have friends over were going to be playing, boys' night" Cairo Replied.
"oh okay..." Veya answered.
"We can call later?" Veya asked but Cairo did not reply.
Veya was so confused and worried, she knew that she is infatuated with Gab, and in love with Cairo. But afraid to lose Cairo. Gab to leaving because she showed that she was uninterested.
she feels so uncertain.
Veya ignored the boys for a week, she received texts from Gab and missed calls and Left him to worry. she kept playing the memories where she lost her aunt and Jake, the past where she opened her doors so much that made them easier to leave.
Veya starts to overthink, Is Cairo mad at me? she keeps asking the same questions about Cairo and Gab, Cairo Gab Cairo Gab Cairo Gab. oh, ice cream!
Reko comes in with Ice cream...
"YOU ARE A LIFESAVER!" she lets Reko in and grabs the ice cream..."chill, you now to explain what is in your head," Reko exclaimed. She knew that Ice cream was the one ticket Reko gets to know what is her head.
so they both talked, about Cairo and Gab. her confusing actions and decisions and thoughts wandering like it's camp all day. she also explains the night she kissed Gab on the cheek and not talking to him all day about t and acting weird during a call while talking to Cairo. she also tells Reko that she ignored them for a week. Reko understanding the facts but does; 't give any advice. she was surprised, Reko didn't scold her. She is clueless.
"so no comment on the confusing yet boring story," She asks.
"Nope, I got a comment but you won't like it baba" he replied.
"oh come on I might need to hear this" she insisted.
"no, I am telling you...you will get hurt and plus why do you keep putting yourself in that position, I mean you made the first move what do you expect?" Reko nagged.
"jeez, mom... I know! I am just I feel so uncertain with both of them," Veya answered
"I will tell you what I think when you get to hear your heart and open to them, clearly Cairo hasn't much...Gab already did, I expect they need now something from you," Reko said.
"you are giving me a tough time," Veya said.
"no you are," Reko replied.
"you are giving yourself that situation baba, Veya you have to talk to Cairo," Reko said.
"wait Why Cairo? What about Gab?" Veya asked.
"You love Cairo, But you are unsure that he likes you too or Love too, and I see that He doesn't want you to get hurt with him," Reko replied.
"But with Gab... Veya I see it in your eyes you are hiding that you like him?" Reko added.
"Okay, you are making me more confused!" Veya exclaimed.
"Veya, you have to stop making the past your fault, some maybe but what happened with you and Jake? your aunt's death wasn't your fault," Reko said.
"then what do you want me to say? Say I love Gab and tell Cairo that I found someone else, and be that person Jake is saying? rumored I did cheat on him? is that what you want me to be? what you want me to be that person in Cairo's head? Is that what you want me to do? Reko I Don't want to lose any more people who mean a lot to me I do not want to be broken into pieces again, you know the real reason why " Veya ranted.
"Veya, If Cairo said that he loves you, wants to love you but afraid? Tells you that there are more out there and doesn't want you to get hurt, then he cares. so telling him that Gab is present, would mean the world to him rather than hiding it soon. meaning, that whatever Jake said and influenced, he didn't believe that and you should too." Reko answered.
"Stop blaming yourself for the past. and stop making it a reason for you to close your doors to someone who is willing to open his/ her doors for you." Reko said.
Veya poured tears, lay her head on the shoulders of the guy who has been there since day 1, on the roof looking up thinking if she finally has forgiven herself from the past. she looks up to Reko while her eyes filled with tears, she hugged Reko tight. Reko looked down on veya and kissed her on the head...
" You are stronger than you ever know," Reko said.
