Veya wakes up, gets ready for her normal routine, makes coffee, sits in front of the table, and joins her Zoom Meetings, Meetings with the councils, and other things that were asked for her to join. During the meetings she kept aside her feelings for Gab and Cairo, not worrying about each one and just focusing on the task on hand, she felt like it was the right thing to do. she kept receiving texts and calls from managers and group leaders, asking for her help and guidance. She willingly asked her bosses and the people in charge to keep her busy throughout the day to keep her away from distractions, Meaningly mean Cairo and Gab, she wanted to clear her head by thinking of something far more important than just a Boy next door and a guy meant for her.

If that is how she describes it.

Veya kept her mind out of them ignoring texts and calls and focusing only on the works she had to do, but it seems that when she ignores it her works get jeopardized. her works became personal, she wasn't really paying full attention to the meetings. So, her managers told her to rest for the day and fix the things that need to be fixed for her organized focused self may come back.

so she took the advice to take a day off, everything to rest and to find herself. she cleaned her room, she did some school works, painted canvases, yet her mind was so blurry she doesn't even know what to do, she doesn't even remember a thing about Cairo and Gab, only her scary past.

that night, Veya kneeled and cried in the middle of her room, remembering the pain when her aunt passed away. she remembered the day where everything went downfall. as she cried her dad saw her, crying on the floor... her dad went in and hugged her, knowing that it is the only thing she needs. a hug from a man who has been her hero and roof.

"I know it's hard to forget things Veya, especially if it is a deep wound that you haven't accept and not letting it heal." her father said.

'why at the moment that I needed them most they are no longer here? I haven't received his answer???????! Why does God have to take them away from me, when he knows I may still need them?" Veya replied.

"honey, I know...I know it hard, we don't have answers to those questions but you know it's for the better," her father insisted

"am I getting Better? I am so tired of crying, I am tired of looking for the answers to make me heal," Veya said.

"maybe God doesn't want you to know the answer, because he has good things and promises to make for you, and when the time comes he will tell you," Her father said.

"Now tell me, what is going on?" Her father added.

She looked at her father and told everything about Cairo, Gab, and her past. she couldn't say I love you to someone she cares for and matters most to her, because if she does, she thinks that they will leave. the pain and the confusion she is facing, her feelings that are so chaotic, and the fear of her and them leaving again once she learned to open her doors again and love them as much as she loved Jake. She was afraid. she told her father everything and her dad looking at her seeing her that after all those time past has been haunting her sleep and her bravery. her father hugged and told her this,

"Veya, if you love someone you have to accept the fact they leave but their memories of great efforts stay and that is what you should love. if you love someone, you say it right there out loud otherwise the moment just passes you by." her father said.

Her father left the room, went to work. She sat down on her desk opened her laptop and contacted Jake, called her hopefully he would answer. in her head, he won't answer, but he did.

"I know you won't talk to me, but why?... why say those words? why those rumors and not the real reason why we broke up?" Veya said waiting for a reply from Jake.
