Allura's Pokémon adventure (yaaay..)

Just a ball of nurves (chapter twentyfour)

Allura POV

A few minutes ago Allura thankfully made it there second and didn't need to pay for the food that was bought.

Hop was there already but Gloria made it there last. She was a little discouraged but she didn't seem too upset about it.

Allura just ended up getting a bunch of Oren berries and some peacha berries too.

Gloria bought sitrus, cherri, and peacha while hop got nothing. After everything was paid for the group left to go to the gym stadium in motostoke; Their first of many.

"So are you guys excited for the stadium? We get to see all of the gym leaders there, all the ones we get to challenge." Gloria asked

"Oh you know I'm fired up," Hop was the first to reply his Grookey, Tempo, was walking on all fours by his side. A pair of sun red glasses sat on his head. "I want to get a good look at all of those gym leaders before I beat them, I'll be so strong they'll just have to hand me that badge. But that would be boring so I guess the fight is needed." Hop stated full of confidence

"Oh what type of gym leader just gives up without a fight? They're not going to just look at you can cower." Gloria teased

"Well they should, I'll be the next champion after all!" He boasted

"Ah yes, the way you loose against two inexperienced trainers says it all mr.champ. My mistake." Gloria went on

"Hey don't forget; you lost against me in the first battle." Hop reminded Her.
"Well maybe so but I've gotten better since then, I could beat you if I wanted now." Gloria said back.

"Alright, I'll hold you to it then. You too Allura!" Hop declared.

"W-What- me? What did I do?" Allura had been listening but this still caught her off guard.

"Well you're traveling with us. Gloria here seems to think she's stronger, for that I'm making her my rival so we can see who's stronger then. And you're good too, so you'll also be my rival." Hop explained

"Don't I get a say in this?" Allura questioned

"Nope." Hop answered "And after the hotel I say we split up, that way when we meet you won't know what to expect once I challenge the two of you again. It'll be more thrilling that way." Hop insisted

Allura just shrugged and agreed "If you say so. I-I'm not going easy on you though." She informed him coolly

"Wow this lobby is massive!" Hop said looking around the wide area dotted with challengers in white uniforms. Those uniforms all had their own unique numbers on the backs and shorts. 

'I prefer grey but the white's ok I guess...'
Allura thought when she saw one of the uniforms. Mimikyu had slipped away from the group right after they walked into the door and Cinder was out of the back pack hopping at Allura's side. Bandit padded along at Allura's other side on all fours. He seemed a little weary of the other people here, he walked with his tail down but still lifted enough to not brush the ground.

At the front desk there was some elderly looking challenger. She wore a mostly pink and long jacket, mostly white tights with a bit of grey and black and pink shoes with white soles. She had one white and blue glove on the left hand and fluffy white hair that looked like some sort of cloudy Afro on top of her head. Last but not least a dynamax bracelet was on her arm right above the glove. She was definitely a challenger.
