Allura's POV
3rd person style

Four hours after leaving the forest Allura was walking back down the path with her two partners. Scorbunny walked beside her trainer on her left side and Mimikyu was riding on Allura's shoulders. Allura wanted to patch up Cinder's wounds a bit but a few minutes after the cuts stopped bleeding the rabbit insisted she was ok and didn't want any help. At that point Allura accepted it but she secretly made plans to have her checked up at the nearest pokémon center instead.
Gloria and Hop would have been there too but Gloria and Hop where at Gloria's house while Gloria was telling her mom about the adventure she was about to go on, so Allura would be going to the train station by herself. Which she didn't mind as she was used to traveling alone, well she wasn't completely alone with Mimikyu and Cinder with her.

After ten minutes or so of walking they came across a line of sleeping Wooloo laid out on the path. {But did they really need to block the path? They could have slept literally anywhere else!} Cinder commented gesturing with her paws to the space around them. "Meh it's fine. Well just walk through the grass." Allura said leading the way through the tall grass.

There where a few Skwovets and Rookiedees around but nothing to dangerous. Most of the Skwovets ran away when they saw Allura pass by. They certainly weren't as tough as the ones in the Slumbering Weald. But the Rookiedees seemed to be about he same.

One of the tiny birds swooped down to stop the three from going any farther before flapping its small wings aggressively at them while fluffing out its feathers. Allura smiled as she tried her best to hold back a laugh from what the bird was doing.
She knew it was trying to be scary but it looked more ridiculous then anything.
"Cinder you're up, use tackle." She said maintaining a normal sounding voice.
The spotted rabbit ran forward and threw herself onto the bird. It would have been a critical hit but the bird pokémon flew to the side and dodged, leaving Cinder to crash into the grass.
While Cinder was down it flew to her and pecked her in the head a few good times. Cinder covered as much of her head as she could with her paws but it didn't stop the attack.

"Roll over and then use ember." Allura said. Cinder rolled to her side like she was told and spat out a tiny ball of fire right in the Rookiedee's face. It tweeted out a cry of pain before pecking at Cinder again, this time a bit harder. "Use tackle!" Allura shouted.
Cinder stood up and threw herself on the bird like she was told to, the bird just pecked Cinder again so Allura called out for her to use tackle again. When the Rookiedee got tackled again it stopped flapping its winds and laid down on the grass. It looked like it fainted.

Cinder hopped up and down at her victory and the bird flew away. Allura decided to take some more time to train so they stayed in the grass for a while, fighting Rookiedees and some Skwovets until it looked like Cinder learned a new move. It was quick attack. Right after learning it Cinder got excited and started using it to zoom around everywhere.
{Wooo! I'm practically invisible!} she cheered as she ran around Naruto style.

Allura tried to keep her eyes on her as best as she could it soon after she just got dizzy. She shook her head and said "Well at least with this new move we can always move first." to herself. "Okay we can probably take a break now and go to the professors place."
{Wait, it thought we where headed to the train station?} Mimikyu said in a confused tone. "Well yeah we where, but I just remembered that we have to stop there first. It shouldn't take too much longer to get there and back." She said while walking farther up the path.

                                            • • •

Time skip twenty minutes forward and the team has been stopped on route 2 by a wild Purrlion.
They had battled a few more pokémon and pokémon trainers since route one so managed to Cinder learn another new move.
"Use double kick!" Allura commanded. Cinder bent her knees a little and her feet started to glow a bright orange color. Then she leaned over to stand on one foot and kicked the other one out at her foe five times, sending orange glowing foot shaped auras flying at the purple and cream cat.
As cool as this may have looked, all five attacks just missed the cat. The Purrloin quickly flipped and spun around, successfully dodging all of them. It stopped and rested for a moment by standing on all fours. Then it lashed it's tail to the side and stood back up on its hind legs and taunted Cinder {Is that the best you've got? I've met newly hatched pokémon with better moves then those! But why am I even surprised? You put a rabbit against a cat and this is bound to happen.} the male Purrlion said with a shrug.

{Quiet you or I'll knock you into next year!} Cinder retorted angrily lowering her ears at him. {Hm, I'll believe that}- the confident cat unsheathed his claws and took a few steps forward -{once you learn how to aim, mangy rodent.} then he slashed at Cinder's face a few good times with the move scratch leaving long red cuts in her patterned fur. Lucky for Cinder she closed her eyes in time for them to at least not be damaged. Cinder covered her face and back away while wincing. She rubbed her face with her paw and opened up her eyes, ready to battle again, only to be hit with a swift head butt right on the center of her forehead from Purrloin. The blow knocked Cinder onto her back where she'd lay unconscious in the dirt.

"Cinder..." Allura said in a soft voice after she saw her fall.
The Purrloin looked down at her with a smug face before dropping down onto all fours and walking away with his tail held high. {Welp that was fun, but I gotta go. Later!} he meowed as he strutted away disappearing into the tall grass.

Allura crouched down and lifted Cinder up into her arms. She was about to say something comforting to her when Cinder opened her eyes and sat up. {That rotten!- I'll wipe the smug smile off his dumb face! Just watch and!-}  Allura pulled her into a hug to keep her from going anywhere "Not right now you're not, you're resting for now. You just got knocked out after all." In a somewhat calm tone.
Cinder huffed in disapproval {Fiiine...} she sighed.
