Allura's Pokémon adventure (yaaay..)

(Chapter sixteen) Allura vs. Gloria no.1

Allura's POV
1st person

I stood in Hops place on the opposite side of the field from Gloria. Hop took my place on the sidelines between Leon and the professor. Leon was helping him with healing up his two pokémon while the professor just watched me and Gloria.

Cinder was a few feet in front of me, she was hopping up and down while she waited for me to give her the first command.
Misty was standing on all fours in front of Gloria. This was kind of strange since when she was standing still she normally just sat up on her back legs. I guess she just getting ready to dodge if she needs to.

Mimikyu of corse was nowhere to be seen. But I'm sure she hasn't gone that far so I'll look for her later.

Anyways back to the battle; Gloria wasn't saying anything so I guessed that we where supposed to go first.

"Cinder use ember!" I told her.

She tilted her head a little, probably because the move wouldn't do that much damage to her. But she didn't say anything back to me like I expected, she just shrugged and spat out some fire in Misty's direction.

"Get rid of them with water gun!" Gloria said before the move could hit her partner. I expected her to do this so I didn't have much of an reaction.

Misty filled up her cheeks up with water and then sprayed the embers till they burned out. Which didn't take more then a few seconds. After the embers where gone Misty looked back at Cinder just in time for Gloria to say "Now use it on Cinder!"

And that was just what she did, she sprayed Cinder in the face with her water gun attack, I didn't say anything and just let Cinder take the hit. The water knocked her back but she was ok, for the most part.

"Misty agai-"
I cut Gloria off to say my own command.
"Use quick attack!"
A split second later Cinder shook off her fur and ran towards Misty. Once she got in close she punched the water-type right below the chest. I think it's called the solar plexus?

Misty closed her eyes and bent over a little when she got hit "Sa!" {Ack!}, she even put a hand over that part of her. As you could probably tell she flinched, so we had the opportunity to attack again.

"Use pound." I said.

Cinder balled up her fist and punched Misty just below the eye. Misty screwed up her face because of the pain before pushing Cinder back so she wouldn't have the opportunity to get in any more close range attacks.

"Push em' even farther with water gun!" Gloria called.

Misty filled her cheeks up with water and blasted Cinder back to where she started the fight.

Once the attack was over Cinder coughed before standing back up. Already she was looking pretty weak. Normally she could take a few hits but since these where water attacks they wore her down faster.

I knew she would refuse to take a break so early on but I decided to ask her if she was ok anyways.

"Are you alright?" I asked

"Scor." {I'm fine.}

She replied with a small nod of her head. I accepted this answer and gave her another command. "Use quick attack."

She listened and dashed towards Misty. I followed her with my eyes as best as I could but it was kind of hard because of how fast she was going. For the most part she was just a blur to me.

On her first hit she kicked one of Misty's legs out from underneath her which caused her to fall onto her knees. "Do it again." I said and then before Misty could get up Cinder circled back around and struck Misty's left side. This knocked her a little off balance but she didn't fall over.
