Cinder suddenly stopped to looked at something that was farther up the path, then Allura was finally able to catch up with her.
{Look!} she pointed with her paw to a little boy standing at a curve in the dirt path, he was tossing a pokéball up and down. {That kid has a pokéball maybe we can-}
A loud crashing sound interrupted her. All three of them turned around to look at where it came from, it sounded like it came from somewhere around the house where the Wooloo was head butting the fence.
'If it was the little sheep maybe we should see if he hurt himself? It sounded pretty loud...'
Allura thought to herself.
{Forget the trainer I guess, I'm going to investigate the crash!}

Cinder announced before running off towards the place where she thought the sound came from.
Allura wanted to stop her but they where probably going to end up checking on the Wooloo anyway so she figured there was no point. She just sighed and shook her head before jogging after her.

They stopped at the broken fence
{Y'know, I didn't think he was actually able to break it...}
Allura heard Mimikyu mumble
"Guess he was stronger then he looked."
Allura replied under her breath. Then Cinder put a paw on Allura's leg

{Looks like one of the Wooloo broke the fence and went into the woods. I've heard some pretty bad stuff about this forest from some of the other pokémon back at the lab.} Cinder told her {I heard that the professor's granddaughter went in there once and was found later all beat up! She's fine now, but she got quite the ear full from the professor afterwards.}
Allura didn't have much to say about it so she just made a concerned face
{'Corse, if we get nagged for going in here I'll just tune the old woman out...}
She continued with a shrug.
"This place must have some pretty tough pokémon then... m-maybe we shouldn't go..? Oh but then w-what about th-the little Wooloo? It being killed is a lot worse then me getting a few scratches and bites."
Allura said half talking to herself and half talking to Cinder, she didn't really realize it but the thought of the Wooloo being hurt was starting to make her stutter come back. Then Cinder looked up at her
{Hey no need to stress! I promise no matter what scary pokémon we run into I'll be sure to}- she did a backflip to get a few feet away from her and landed perfectly on her feet before punching at the air -{beat em' up!}

She stopped punching the air to place her paws confidently on her hips {As my new trainer I promise to defend you at all costs!}
She declared. {I'll protect you as well...} Mimikyu put in wrapping her shadow arm around a part of Allura's. Then Allura took a deep breath and decided
"Okay then, l-let's go. But let's all stick together, just to be safe." She said to them "Which means no running head of the group, just to be clear." She put in looking at Cinder specifically.
{Yeah yeah, I know.}
Cinder said rolling her eyes. Then the small team all walked into the Slumbering Weald. Everything seemed fairly quiet.

The forest was dark and foggy with shady oak trees that seemed way taller then normal ones, they where less like forest trees and more like the tall city buildings she remembered seeing a long time ago back in Unova.
Allura lifted her arm up to hold onto Mimikyu's tail, she just had the strange feeling of constantly being watched. Well, she was always a little nervous because she felt like everyone was always looking at her but this was different. This time it actually felt like something was staring right through her soul, and it kind of put her on edge. More then she usually was.
Mimikyu didn't seem to mind Allura holding her wooden tail for comfort so she didn't let go.

They where only a few steps into the grass before a Skwovet leaped out of the grass at them. It landed right in front of Allura and bit her on the shin. The young girl held back a curse word by biting her own tongue.
