Six weeks later

Nancy's POV

"Good morning." I mumbled as I stepped into mine and Damon's kitchen. For what felt like the first time in months, it was just us.

Stefan had finally gotten his own place somewhere on Main Street and Valerie had left town to search for her mother who she couldn't find here in Storybrook.

Enzo and Bonnie were also somewhere on Main Street and Matt was in a flat somewhere near the station.

It had been an oddly calm six weeks that had reminded me rather weirdly of the summer break before Bonnie, Caroline and Elena started at Whittmore.

Off course at that time Bonnie was dead, Jeremy was lying to us all and Stefan was drowning over and over in the quarry while I searched tirelessly for him, but it was the same oddly calm.

We'd saved my dad and Belle had cast Rumplestiltskin from all our lives by ejecting him over the town boarder. He couldn't come back unless we let him.

Caroline was getting closer to her due date by the day and we all knew we'd soon be receiving a phone call about her going into labour but for now her and Ric were radio silent back in Whittmore.

Slowly Mystic Falls was being rebuilt but it wasn't our home anymore, Storybrooke was. We'd all integrated rather well with Bonnie going to work in the library, me at the docks, Stefan going to work for Leroy and the boys at the auto-mechanic's, Matt was now a fully fledged sheriff's deputy and Damon and Enzo did the odd jobs around town.

Damon having taken a liking to auto-mechanics like his younger brother and Enzo spending his days bothering Bonnie at the library or milling around with Will Scarlett and the Merry men.

"You're up late." Damon mumbled, his back to me as I walked into our kitchen. He was at the island a hot cup of coffee where his usual bourbon would be and a half fed-from blood bag on the marble counter.

"Since when do you read the newspaper?" I cocked my head at the paper in his hands. "You do realise I'm over 150 years old?" He pondered and I laughed, "doesn't mean you have to act like it." I said leaning forward and kissing his temple from behind.

He leaned back slightly on his breakfast stool and looked at me, "you not sleeping well?"
"No, I was just catching up some extra hours." I lied.

In all honesty since that day when we saved my dad and Rumplestiltskin was cast out, I had had this sinking feeling in my chest like some new danger was already waiting to gobble us up.

"Well I was going to make breakfast..." he paused to turn and drag me into his knee. "But then I didn't know if you'd want any." He explained.

"I'm not that hungry." I smiled down at him from my place on his lap, his bare chest was pushed against my shoulders and my bare legs in only his shirt were dangling across his clothed ones.

"Look at us being all mundane and couplie." I joked and he laughed, "Miss Jones you could never be mundane, or boring."
"Mhhhm keep talking." I shut my eyes and thought for some seconds as his hand held the back of my waist and his other lay resting on the table.

Tingles shot through my spine as his hand moved on my back in small circles and I made the mistake of meeting his eye. His deep blue iris' seemed splattered with something darker.

Was it lust.

"You know the apartments empty today." I told him with a suggestive wiggle of my left brow. "Oh yeah?" He smirked.
"Yeah. All of our friends are distracted and we have this place all to ourselves.

And that's when he kissed me.

He leaned in and he enveloped my lips hungrily with his own. "Fuck breakfast." He muttered before he brought a hand down to thigh and the other up to my hair, his lips re-attaching to my own and not letting go.

I grinned into the kiss before I moved my arm and wrapped it around his shoulders, the stool we were both balanced precariously on top of giving a warning shudder that it may soon collapse

"Bedroom?" I asked in a pant between kisses. He didn't reply with words, just simply hoisting me up and vamp speeding us away and up the stairs.

And for a few hours all my worried melted away and I was in utter bliss, until reality came crashing in the form of one Bonnie Bennett.

Same morning Third person POV - Storybrooke Library.

Yet again, like he did every morning now, Lorenzo St John walked Bonnie Bennett to the town library then he headed away for his own day, passing Matt Donovan as he opened up the station and took the keys from David.

Then he passed the dinner where young Henry Mills was sitting waiting to head to school. Next was the shop where Stefan worked who shot him a nod and a wave before the two parted ways.

Like Nancy said, it was mundane, it was quaint and quiet- but it was calm and homely something the Vampires of their group craved and something Bonnie and Matt who'd been subjected to constant supernatural turbulence from their teenage years yearned to get back to. Normality.

Bonnie had been working tirelessly, unbeknownst to her friends to try and wake Elena. She'd been contacting Tyler who was the only person who knew where the Gilbert girl's body was and was trying her hardest to raise the girl from her coma.

She knew it could cause some trouble for Nancy and Damon and their relationship with the newly human Elena but she so badly wanted her best friend back, she hoped they'd understand.

Bonnie was currently sitting pouring over a book of spells that Belle had helped her find when she came across one that intrigued her.

"Et dormienti resurgemus, cum vivis eat posuit REST- est confringetur quod nisi fuerit dormienti cum vivi victimas a parte sui ut conteram execratione maledicta congessit."

She read around and Belle who was stood watching her with the captain behind her gave a small cough, "what does that mean?" She asked the Bennett witch.

"It's how I'm gonna wake Elena......I need to give up my magic..... 'the sleeping shall rise when the living is layer to rest- this shall be broken only when the living sacrifices for the sleeping, a part of themselves to break the curse'."

Bonnie looked up again at the librarian and the Captain and the latter gave a sigh. "Are you sure love?"
"Off course I am......I know how to get Elena back."

So that's when she pulled out her phone and dialled the number she knew was gonna help her.

"Hey Tyler, I need you to do me a favour......"

Sorry about the weeks hiatus I've been busy getting back into sixth form life and other problems, but I'm back. Whoo!
