One hour earlier- after Regina left the boat

"Nan! Nancy!" Nancy span around to find Stefan walking up the galley-way decking as he climbed aboard the Jolly Roger. "Stefan." She sighed realising just how awkward she felt about the previous day.

"I......I was heading to Grannies if you wanna join." He offered and she gave him a look, wiping her hand on her jeans. She'd been hoisting up one of the mast ropes to help anchor the ship more against the wind that had picked up that morning.

"Helping to steady the ship." She replied looking down at the fresh calluses on her fingers from gripping the harsh rope. "It's weird seeing you do things like that- it's like I don't even know this other world of yours."

"Well that's because you don't.....but it's ok.....I can show you if you like- you got the sword fighting down easily." She said with a smile, his awkwardness making her feel slightly better about their kiss the day before and his bashful smile making her heart melt.

Never in a million years did Nancy Jones think she'd be teaching Stefan Salvatore anything on a ship or with a sword yet here she was.

The hours passed quickly for the two as they worked on and around the ship, despite it going on no travels any time soon, they had fun.

It was mid afternoon though when the bubble was broken. Stefan's phone rang and chaos ensued.

"Nance!" Stefan yelled across the ship from where he'd walked to answer the call. "Nance! It's Caroline!" He yelled and the Jones girl jumped into action.

She vamp sped and Stefan and grabbed his arm before vamp speeding them off of the ship.

"Come on." Then together the two made a run for Grannies where they were told that blonde had gone into Labour.
