"Won't." She breathed heavily, between kisses, "your." She sighed against his lips, "siblings." She hummed into his soft, tanned skin, "be missing you." She finally got out her completed sentence through laboured breaths.

Holding the sides of his face between her ringed hands. The sun kissed skin on his cheeks between them glowing as he smiled down at her. That loving, cheeky smile his face always held for her. A sun glowing over the warmed face.

His body lay above hers, his weight evenly and gently distributed over her own as to not hurt her in her corset. Even as a vampire she was still younger than him by centuries and he knew he often forgot his own strength.

"They know exactly where I am darling, this vineyard isn't as vast as it seems- and they know better then to come looking and disturb our paradise here." He smirked back down at her, momentarily rolling onto his right side to lean off of her and stroke her face with the free arm that was not under her head.

The sun beamed down through the canopy of fig tree branches, leaving speckles of fallen sunlight to dance over the grassy floor around their little blanket.

"Klaus will kill you if you miss the ball this evening." She reminded him, reaching across to move a golden curl from his face. His hair was grown out here. A boyish charm fell in gilded ringlets that bounced around his ages-worn head like a halo.

"You my darling are no fun.....you worry too much- and Niklaus can entertain our guests himself- perhaps with his favourite pass time....talking about himself." He chortled and she too giggled at this,

But then her face fell serious again, "Kol, He surrounds himself with family because he loves you all- he invited you here for a reason. Because he missed you and I did too- terribly. He probably got sick of my pining." She tried to reason.

"Well don't you worry that pretty head of yours my lovely lady Nancy......I am here to stay." He assured her.
"Elijah hasn't called you back yet?" She questioned.

"No and I have told him not too- our family owns this land- the villa and now it is ours- mine and yours....forever." He slipped his hand into his leggings pocket and produced a key, "you sneaky little- however did you steal that!" She sat up shocked by his sudden ownership of the key.

"I am just that talented." He smirked again. "I love you Lady Nancy." He spoke and her heart swelled.

She purely beamed down at him.

A genuine, full face of a smile.
One that reached her eyes and sparkled deep into their brown rivers of honeycomb under the light of the sun.
