Scott's Point of View-

Daniel fell down on the grass, right in front of me. My eyes widened as I began running towards him. Nico ran to him as well, but Brianna stayed tucked away in the bathroom only peeking at the situation.

"Dude put on some fucking clothes, God!" Nico shouted at me, bending down. I don't think he knew what we did, but he was most likely bound to find out later. Thankfully nobody else was around in the school building, so I quickly ran back in the bathroom, and slipped my boxers and jeans on. I didn't bother putting on my shirt as the jeans took enough time to put on, so I threw it over my shoulder and headed back outside.

Before I could step outside, Brianna tapped my shoulder.

"Wait..." She said in a small voice.

"What?" I asked loudly. Daniel passed out again and she expects me to be all calm about this?

"I'm.. I'm sorry..." She said, small tears beginning to fall out of her eyes.

"A little too late for that, don't you think?"

I ran towards Daniel, and put my hand over his heart. He still had a pulse, thank God. "Help me lift him up," Nico ordered. I grabbed him by his feet, and he grabbed him by his back. He wasn't heavy for the either of us, and it was easy to carry him up the stairs and through the building. Before we entered, me and Brianna both exchanged knowing glances before Nico told me to hurry along.

We carried him through the halls, and a lot of people were looking at us. We navigated our way to the nurse's office, and didn't even bother to knock; we barged through the doors, and carefully layed him down on one of the beds. The nurse wasted no time in getting up from her desk, and coming over to us.

"Oh my gosh, what happened? Did Daniel faint again" She asked with a shocked expression, already leaning down beside him, as if this sort of thing happened frequently. "Yes ma'am, we had just gotten here, and I'm not sure how it happened." Nico explained.

That's when I begin to wonder if I'm the cause of his faintings. The last time he fainted was after he got angry and walked away from me, and the exact same thing happened right now, except he was more heartbroken this time. I can't believe I just had sex with Brianna, even worse, what if she actually goes and snitches on me? Things can't possibly get any worse right now.

"Okay, since this is the second time, I'll have to phone his mother and call the paramedics; you two may wait here if you like," she said, sternly pointing to a pair of plastic chairs. I looked at Nico, and he nodded, and so we both sat down. The nurse went to her desk, and began to call the emergency hotline first. We could hear faint mumbling on the line as she talked to the receiver. "Yes, we have a student here at the school district who has fell into a... coma, and we need an ambulance right away. He has shown no signs of waking up, however his heartbeat is still active," she said, exchanging nods between us.

"Yes, okay, thank you, that's perfect, goodbye," she hung the phone up, and immediately began calling his mother next. After a few rings, she answered.

"Hello? Yes, this is the nurse at the school district. I'm terribly sorry, but your son has fallen into a coma again, and he hasn't shown any signs of waking up. No, he's still breathing I believe, and most importantly his heart is still beating. Yes, yes okay I was just about to suggest that. I have already called the paramedics, so they should be arriving here as well. Yes, I'm sorry, but I promise everything will be better. Take care, goodbye." She hung up the phone.

The situation was very tense at the moment, although nobody outside of the school knew what was going on. Continuing to ignore our presence, the nurse went ahead to her filing cabinet to fill out random papers and information. Nico turned to look at me, and he had a skeptical look on his face.

"Scott, why did Daniel faint?" He asked, even though there were tears from before on my face.

I knew I had to tell him, but I wouldn't reveal all of the information, or else he'd be even more mad at me than he was before. "I'm not sure, he saw me in the bathroom, and I wanted to apologize to him, but then he started getting angry at me, and then he just, well, yeah." I scratched my head, cursing myself for coming up with such a dumb excuse. He narrowed his eyes at me, as expected.

"But what was Brianna doing back there with you?" He asked sternly. So he did see Brianna, even though she was covered by the bathroom door. I didn't want to hide it any longer, but I didn't want to explain it to him either.

"Don't worry about it."

I shook my head, and glared forwards into space. Suddenly, the door burst open, and a familiar man came in. "What's going on in here?" He asked quickly. The principal of our school, very slim, with a dithered mutton chop beard. He stared at Daniel laying on the bed, then to us, and then to the nurse. "Nurse, what's going on in here?"

"One of our students fainted, I've already taken necessary action, sir." She explained. He stomped towards the bed, and hovered his meaty face over him, scanning him with his eyes all over. "He doesn't look like anybody I know, what's his name?" He asked. "Daniel Bullei, sir." The nurse replied. She had a timid look on her face despite the situation. The principal then looked over to us. "What are these two doing here?"

"They carried him here, I take it that they are both of his friends," she stated, with a hint of a question, exchanging nods between us again. "Well, they don't need to be here, tell them to go wait in the gym until the event starts. All of the students are currently going there." He said, already leaving the office. The nurse looked at us with a sigh, and then nodded. "Well, you heard him boys. Go on to the gym." We both thanked her, and then Nico went to lead me out of the office. "Wait," I muttered, as soon as we passed the door. Nico stopped, and the nurse raised her head, wanting to hear what I had to say.

"Can I just, do one more thing before I go?" I asked. I thought she would have denied my request because of the situation, but since she saw the tears in my eyes, I figured she pitied me enough to let me go ahead. "Very well," she said, nodding. I slowly walked over to the bed, and kneeled down beside Daniel. I looked back towards the both of them, and they were still watching me. Normally, I wouldn't do this kind of thing around others, but I don't care. Even though I did what I did, I still need to show Daniel that I love him as much as he may love me.

I kissed him on his forehead gently, and then with a sigh, I stood up off of the floor. The nurse gave me a reassuring smile as we both left the office.

I thanked her one last time, before we deserted him, and left him in the care of professionals.
