a frown made its way to your face, hugging your folded legs, your chin on top of your knees. you leaned againdt the headboard. you were wrapped with the covers, hair disheveled, lips swollen, neck and chest filled with love bites, and naked.
you played with your fingers for a while, your eyes averting around the room. you were tired, but nervousness and sadness kept you from closing your eyes and falling asleep.
you tensed when alastor plopped down next to you, half naked with only his pants on. a blush covered your cheeks at the plain sight of him, as if you haven't seen him completely naked last night.
“i guess this means we belong to each other, hm?” he asked, a smile on his face, eyes half lidded and shining with amusement at the sight of your red face.
“i . . . i don't know . . .” you mumbled, almost jumping when he draped his red pinstriped coat over you.
“dear,” he started, lifting your chin and making you face him, “we can pretend that nothing happened between us last night . . . but that just won't do for me.”
he snaked an arm to hold your waist, facing your whole body towards him. he leaned down and you closed your eyes, expecting to feel his lips against yours but you felt them against your neck instead. your eyes widened when he started to litter small, feather like kisses on your neck.
laughing, you held his hands on your waist, squirming, “alastor, stop. that tickles.”
he stopped and stilled, lips forming a smile as he pressed a long kiss on the soft skin of your neck. he sighed when you ran your hand through his hair, the other one gently gliding over the scars on his shoulder.
he lowered and peppered his kisses on your collarbones, whispering, “i don't want to go back to how things were before, darling.”
you nodded, kissing his head, “then let's move forward . . . together.”
he pulled away and smiled at you, a rare genuine smile he's been showing you lately.
