“though i am often in the depths of misery, there is still calmness, pure harmony, and music inside me.” you spoke, cupping your husband's cheek with a smile, “and that is you, mon chér.”

“you remind me that there are still good things in this world, darling.” he responded, giving you a sincere smile that no one else could ever have.

a few meters away, angel dust covered his ears, his eyes on the floor, “oh my fuck, they're quoting van gogh again!”

“let them be, angel.” charlie gave the spider demon a smile, before turning back to the couple that made her smile widen, “they just got together again! after many decades of searching for each other, they're together again! isn't that romantic?” the princess let out a sigh at the end.

vaggie had her arms crossed over her chest, looking over at angel with a smug smirk on her face, “the strawberry pimp's got a better love life than you do.”

ultimately, four hands raised up to give the moth demon the middle finger.

the day alastor came through the doors of the hotel, grinning widely and joyfuly to announce that he had someone he would love to introduce to them all was a surprise to everyone. never did they know that the radio demon was married, and never did they know that his wife was the sweetest demon they have ever met.

they were surprised and curious as to how a sweet, seemingly innocent, and kind person as you got together with alastor (he was not offended, i promise).

alastor raised a hand and with one quick snap, you were both teleported to your favorite place in the hotel. and the others immediately knew where it was.

“alright! they're gone, no one's allowed to enter the garden until they come back!” charlie announced, grinning happily as if a teenager witnessing her ship sailing.

at the garden, the deer demon watched with euphoria at the sight of you running ahead and picking up flowers you thought would look amazing for a flower crown. it was beautiful. you were beautiful.

“you are a fountain of good fortune, my love.” he spoke, cutting your actions as you turned towards him. the usual static in his voice lowered down, showing how much sincere he was with every word.

he began to approach you slowly, taking his time to adore your image, “seeing your face is akin to drinking water after a lifetime in the desert.”

a smile formed on your lips, a blush on your cheeks that you desperately tried to hide. alastor stood beside you, an arm around your waist as he leaned down to whisper in your ear, “you are the first thing on my mind, the last thought before sleep, and my truest love.”

you giggled, “i love you too, al.”

he then pressed a kiss on the side of your head before adding, “this between us is the most beautiful thing i have ever felt.”

at that moment, you felt like you were the most loved and beautiful individual in all of hell. alastor would make sure you always felt that way.
