“hi, angel!”

out of surprise, the spider demon tried to stand up but regretted it very soon as his head met the table. he groaned and sat back down, clutching his head.

“pfft—” you covered your mouth with a hand, pursing your lips.

“ya know what,” angel looked up at you with furrowed eyebrows, “fuck you.”

“aw, love you too, angie.” you teased, holding out a hand to help him stand up once he had crawled out from underneath the table.

he dusted his clothes and smoothened his hair, “am i first?”

“nah, husk was just lazing around.” you grinned when he fist bumped the air, happy that he wasn't the seeker.

you were currently in the middle of playing hide and seek with the whole gang. and with enough pleads, your boyfriend joined in. the hotel was enormous and playing the said game was fun.

“is everyone found?” he asked once more.

the both of you left the room used for meetings and walked down the hallway side by side. you grinned, you were the seeker and you were good at finding every single one of them. except one. which was the cunning deer demon you knew was a not so easy target.

“not everyone.” waving, you ran up the stairs as angel pressed the elevator's button, “see ya, angel! gotta go find myself a strawberry pimp!”

“go get him, sugar tits!”

you laughed at his encouragement. knowing alastor, he must've been plainly in his room, reading a book or something, just waiting for the game to finish. you rolled your eyes at that and stood in front of his room.

you turned the knob and the door opened with ease. but to your surprise, you weren't met with the dark red walls of his room, the huge bed and multiple shelves of books and other furniture. instead, you were met with the familiar, quiet woods of hell.

cautiously stepping in, the door closed behind you. panic or nervousness never really came to you, you knew who caused the sudden portal and the place was somewhere the both of you would occasionally visit for an escape from the loud, chaotic pentagram city.

fireflies led the way down a path and you smiled, walking slowly to savor the environment. the game had left your mind as you watched the little glowing creatures fly around. soon enough, the red lake met your view. and the huge shady tree beside it.

there he was, sitting down on the grass, back leaning against the tree, eyes closed and a smile on his face. you approached and stood in front of him with your hands on your waist.

“found you.” you stated, smiling down brightly at the radio demon.

he hummed with his eyes still closed. chuckling, you plopped down next to him. his hand immediately found yours, fingers intertwining with each other.

“you . . . ” you began to let out soft giggles, leaning back as well.

he opened one eye and looked down at you, smile widening at the sight of your happiness.

“you did this on purpose.” you whispered once your giggling fit had stopped.

you remembered how when you were alive, you declared a game of hide and seek with alastor. but instead of just hiding inside, he went out into the forest behind your home, messing with you. you eventually found him, sleeping comfortably underneath a tree. instead of angrily waking him up, you joined and soon fell asleep, snuggled up beside him.

“oh, did i?” he mused, smirking.

you laid your head on his shoulder, a small smile on your face as you hummed.

“we should sleep.” you muttered, chuckling.

“alright.” he gently whispered.

so there you were, snuggled up to each other peacefully. not knowing how you left the others wondering where in the nine circles have you wondered off to.
