you were more than happy when charlie announced a staff outing where you all could take a break and enjoy a day in hell's red beach.

and as you arrived, you were quick to take off the dress you wore over your swimwear and dived in the ocean with an also excited angel. not noticing the annoyance of a certain deer demon who wanted your attention.

it was because all of you were too busy with the hotel that you spent little time with your boyfriend and now that you had a day off, he wanted to be with you.

alastor sat on his beach chair under an umbrella, watching you laugh as you passed the beach ball to angel with little niffty burying husk in the sand beside him. also keeping watch of other demons, ready to set them on fire if they ever make a mistake of staring at his darling.

as you tossed the ball to angel, it unexpectedly went pass him and far away towards the shore. odd because you swore you didn't put that much strength into it. was it the wind?

“damn it, toots!” angel grumbled, one of his hands punching the water before he waddled towards the ball.

“sorry!” you shouted before chuckling.

you waited for him to come back with the ball and resume your game when you suddenly felt arms around your waist. you panicked for seconds before relaxing when a familiar voice spoke up.

“it's me, dear.”

“don't scare me like that, bambi.” you responded, furrowing your eyebrows as he laughed.

“well, it's time for you to spend time with me.” alastor declared before snapping his fingers.

you teleported still in the waters and away from the group but still had view of them. finally, to the overlord's joy, you finally had alone time.

“wait.” you started, pulling away from his hold to face him, “you did that, didn't you?”

“hm?” he asked with a raised eyebrow, smirk on his face.

you crossed your arms over your chest, “you made the ball go away so you could steal me from angel, didn't you?”

“i don't —”

the radio demon didn't get to finish what he was saying when you splashed water on his face.

“you're mean, al.” you laughed, swimming away as fast as you could while giggling.

you squealed in surprise when he appeared in front of you, holding your waist with a grin before dragging you down into the water with him. you didn't panic, only relaxing when he pulled you against him.

alastor pressed his lips against yours, your locks floating freely as you wrapped your arms around his neck. you were thankful that you could hold your breath for a long time.

you could feel nothing else but your lover as you closed your eyes, melting into the feeling of his soft lips against yours. he hoisted you up not long after pulling away.

you looked up at him with red cheeks, trying your best to stabilize your breathing. none of you spoke, you were about to when a familiar beach ball hit the side of his head.

“stop stealin' my girl buddy from me, bambi!”
