"DID THE LAW change?" tanong ko sa estudyante ko.

"I'm just telling facts, attorney!" Aba! lumalaban sya, sis.

"Did you make up the facts, or did the facts make you?" Annoyance was just heard from me.

"No, attorney. Sadyang stupid ka lang talaga." She placed a mocking smile.

"I am giving you a warning, Ms. Garcia," sigaw ko.

"P'wede kitang ibagsak sa subject ko! A reminder for all of you, every one of you. Graduating na kayo ng law proper! You better fix yourselves," ani ko.

"Ganyan, attorney. Huwag ka nang magalit, ah. Mas magaling lang talaga ako." A smirk was formed in her lips. Oh? Okay. Let me show you how it's like.

"You know what, Ms. Garcia? You're right." She had that amused smile after I said that. "But..." I paused. "Bagsak ka na kaagad sa midterms and finals," I said before leaving the room. "You might not even graduate this year," dagdag ko.

I can make your grade 3.5 or 4.5, my dear. Ang galing galing mo pa naman," I said again and the whole class was silent and all ears were on me. "See you next year, I guess?" I smiled sweetly.

"Attorney, okay lang." She smiled sarcastically. "At least, may pampaaral ang tatay ko," she said kaya naman nilingon ko siya.

"At saan kukuha ng pera ang tatay mong congressman na corrupt? Sa kaban ng bayan?" She turned madly red. Pft. Nagmukha pa siyang kamatis.

Listen up class, If you're going to be a lawyer someday, choose your moral principles and dignity over money." I educated them.

"Yes, attorney!" I heard my students agree with me.

Laging eager to learn kapag ako ang nagtuturo.

"Bwisit ka, Ma'am," rinig kong sabi ng estudyante.

NOONG GABING IYON ay tinawagan ko si Natalie.

"Girl, pagod na ako," naiiyak na sabi ko.

"Ha?! Teka-teka, may hiring pa ako. Hindi ako makakapunta d'yan!" Nagulat ko ata siya sa sinabi ko.

"Hindi mo naman kailangang pumunta, eh. Okay lang. Sige, mag-trial ka na d'yan. Goodluck! Love you!" sambit ko at saka ko pinatay ang telepono ko.

Lumabas ako ng unit ko para bumili ng biogesic dahil masakit na ang ulo ko kaka-check ng digests ng mga estudyante ko. I must say, I am proud that I was their teacher. I can see na pursigido sila palagi. I'm not that strict pero ganoon na nga.

"I need to finally talk to you." Did I just hear the man that I was madly in love with but chose to leave me for no reason at all? Well. Hello, my friend. One thing I gotta say to you is freak you!

"What do you need?" My face was emotionless.

"Why did you fail my baby?" Baby. Baby. Baby.

"Are you somewhat related to her, Mr. Garcia?" I asked. I didn't remember him being an engineer or married so it was the safest bet.

"Correction, Attorney Castro, I'm Engineer Garcia." Ha?

"Sorry for that Engineer." I faked and coughed.

"Why did you fail, Claire?" Annoyance was heard in his voice.

"Okay, Engineer," I said "What would it feel like if you got disrespected by your own students?" I scoffed.

"Give her a second chance," he said. I didn't feel anything.

Happiness? None.

Missing him? None.

Regression? Hell yes!

Hate? Yes!

"I won't," maikling sabi ko.

"Attorney, she did nothing to you," he argued.

"Nothing?! Ganyan ba talaga kayong mga manhid?" I stopped. "Oo nga naman. You had to leave me for no reason, I shouldn't feel anything anymore." I looked away.

"It wasn't her fault that you got offended, Attorney Castro." Hoy! Tumigil ka nga. Hindi ako Castro!

"It was." I crossed my arms. "It was your family, yourself, and your girlfriend," I said again. "I'm not going to pass, Claire." I walked out.

"I'm sorry if I had to leave you for no reason."

"When you left, it was a blessing." I smirked. "Don't worry. I already found a boy. Oh, sorry. I meant a man. I don't like boys, like you," mariing sabi ko.

"You don't fucking understand," he sharply said.

"Then make me!" I yelled.
