"DAD... UHM..." I was shaking while I was in Dad's office.
"Yes? Issabella?" Dad's eyes were on a circle shape.
"Is there a slot pa po ba sa Head of legal?" maingat na tanong ko. His brows furrowed because why the hell I'm asking if there's a slot, eh sa Baguio naman ako nagtatrabaho.
"Yes... why?" he questioned.
"Dad, 'wag muna magalit, ha. I quitted my job." I closed my eyes, while waiting for the sermon.
"W-what?! Yes!" My dad was over-all ecstatic at this point. What?! Hindi siya nagalit?
"What? I thought you'll be all mad and stuff." Nakakunot-noo na tanong ko.
"Mad?" He chuckled. "I've waited for this day." Lumabas siya sa opisina niya at in-announce na ako na ang head ng legal. Hay. Tatay ko talaga. Ewan ko rin.
When I exited the office, lahat sila nakangiti at nakatingin sa akin. Am I a sort of statue?
"Congrats po, Attorney." A women smiled at me. I said thank you, of course.
Bumalik ulit ako ng hospital para bantayan ulit si Kuya. The lot we saved up for sa Katipunan ay unfortunately, hindi na raw for sale.

I Inquired and it was a one thousand five hundred square meter lot. Puwede na iyan, besides lima lang naman kami.

I called them that I will buy the lot na since nasa bangko ko na iyon. No problem with the remaining money we can buy it with cash!
"Yow, yow, yow!" I cheered while they were looking at me maliciously. We're on a video call para sabihin sa kanila.
"Issabella, p*ta ka! Ang aga-aga, ang ingay mo!" Mukha silang bangag na bangag. Ala-siyete pa lang ng umaga ay tumawag na kasi ako.
"I found the lot!" Galak na sabi ko. Bigla naman silang nagulat at napatayo.
"What the?!" Their eyes widened.
"Dadaanan ko kayo! Check natin!" sabi ko habang nag-boblowdry. Pinatay ko na rin ang call at sinundo sila.
"Girl! Finally!" Natalie yelled cutely.
"May daga." Bri sneered Nat.
"Sis, 'wag bitter," natatawang sabi ko.
"Anong bitter? 'Yan nga kagabi ngumangawa sa ex n'ya!" kantyaw ni Jonna.
Bigla namang nanahimik si Bri.
"Foul, sis." Tumikhim siya.
It was a short drive dahil wala namang traffic kasi weekend na. Wala rin naman silang pasok kaya sakto lang na ngayon kami magtingin ng lote.
"Ilang square meter?" tanong ni Jonna.
"One thousand five hundred," I said while turning the steering wheel.
"How much tho?" Taas kilay na tanong ni Bri.
"Approximately, one million and five hundred thousand," I said while stopping the engine.
Bumaba kami ng sasakyan at natanaw na namin ang landlord sa harap ng lote. Ang ganda ng address. May parking din, katabi ng kalsada, at hindi gaanong traffic sa lugar. I put my shades on, sis. Napakainit.
