The food was actually good. Proud of him. Nag-shower ako at pumasok sa kuwarto ko para mahiga at matulog na sana nang bigla namang bumukas ang pinto ng kuwarto ko. Nagtalukbong naman agad ang ate nyo.
"Issabella, alam kong gising ka pa," he said. Ang ate niyo nagpipigil ng hinga para hindi mahalata. I heard him sighed and bigla akong nakaramdam ng bigat sa kama. Pasalamat ka, Sean Liam at king's size bed ito! "Love, I'm so sorry." I can feel that he's pouting. "Ano kasi 'yon?"

Bumaba ako para salubungin siya.

After that, hindi ko na natanong ang tungkol kay Ash at kinalimutan niya na rin. Maybe it wasn't me.
THE WEEK WENT fast at bukas ay election na ni Tito. Suwerte dahil natapat ng Sabado. We already registered to vote.
Just like that. Si Tito ang nanalo. He received a lot of compliments.

"Ows? Pinagpalit or pinapalit?" malisyosong tanong ko.
"Manahimik ka," saad ni Sungit.
After that, the emcee announced that Tito won.
"Hold up, everybody! Let's welcome our new Congress man! Frank Garcia!" Emcee announced. "And who is the son that is getting engaged? Hmmm? Oh, yeah! Sean Liam Garcia! Let's give them a round of applause," emcee said cheerfully.
They never said we will get engaged. I looked at Sean with disapproving eyes. Don't tell me, he planned it?!
"Thank you, every one for coming to this formal party." Tito smiled "This is why I wanted a party to announced that my son here, and Issabella Louisse is getting married." They all clapped. "Anak, bring Bella here." Sean obliged. He went out down tme and inalalayan ako paakyat sa staged. Ayoko naman na ma-bad shot even tho this f*cking engagement, is not right.
I smiled at Tito and walked towards the stage.
"Hi! Uhm... you might not know me po." I smiled shyly.
"Oh, come on, Anak! 'Di ba, you all guys know her?" Tito said cheerfully and the crowd was went wild. So, they wanted this also, ha?
"I'm so glad po to have this honor to be engaged to the man I love." I smiled. I'm so not glad. I love him, but this was f*cking too much! After that, bumaba na kaming lahat sa stage and kumain.
"HAPPY FIRST ANNIVERSARY, Babe!" ginulat ko si Sean sa bahay. May dala-dala akong cake. "Make a wish!" I encouraged him. The tired Sean was already happy upon seeing me. He did make a wish and I hugged him after. He pinched my cheek.
"Also... I bought you a gift." He went to our room and got a small box. It was a new ring! "Mom, chosen the ring you're wearing not me." He chucked. I opened the small box. It was so shiny! There was a diamond on top and small crystals along the ring. It was so beautiful!
"To more years with you." He smiled and kissed me.
"UGH! I'M SO over to this course." I sighed tiredly.
"Come on, Babe. Kaunti na lang third year college ka na," Sean cheered me up.
Yes, we're engaged and they planned the marriage after I graduated. Hindi man lang nila ako hinintay grumaduate ng Law Proper!
"Babe, punta lang akong Pangasinan! Bibisatahin ko na rin si Abuela!" sigaw ni Sean from the shower habang ako naman ay nag-totoothbrush.
"Sige. Give flowers to Abuela, ha," pagbibilin ko sa kaniya.
Pumasok ako sa kuwarto namin. Yes, magkatabi na kami. Isang taon na kaming magkasama tapos magkahiwalay pa rin kuwarto namin? Ops. Walang nangyari. Huwag kayong dirty minded.
Matutulog na ako samantalang si Sean naman ay paalis na. Mas walang traffic kasi kapag gabi ka bumiyahe. Iidlip na lang daw siya kina Abuela.
Funny how even Abuela love him.
Hindi pa ako makatulog kaya bumaba ako sa kusina para kumuha ng gatas. Pagbalik ko sa kuwarto ay bigla namang nag-text si Sean.
"Off the road, Babe. Matulog ka na. Isara mo lahat ng pinto at bintana, ha." He was always like that. Ganiyan palagi ang text kapag aalis siya at mag-isa lang akong maiiwan sa bahay.
I decided to turn on the TV and the news was on. So, I was just listening. Baka ipa-recite pa bukas iyan sa amin.
Bigla kong nabitawan ang basong hawak ko nang makita ko ang balita. Bigla namang tumahol si Daisy dahil natapunan siya ng gatas.
"Congressman Garcia, 'di umano ay nahuli sa isang compound na nagbebenta sa mga senator ng drugs na limangpu't milyon ang halaga."
"Sean," bulong ko.
