"Jeonghan?" Seokmin asked from across the cellar.
"What?"
"Is there something wrong? You've been glaring, I mean, staring at me since you came back."
"Something wrong, you ask?"
"Ahhh Seokmin-ah. Lemme check your wound." Hoshi went beside Seokmin and really did check up on him.
No way. Seokmin likes Joshua? So I've been raising a snake within my yard this whole time?
"I really want to know. Did I do something?" Seokmin asked again.
"Okay, for your info, Joshua and I-"
"Are going to meet once again!" Hoshi interrupted again. "We found a way out of this rotten mansion. So, once we passed that gate, hyung will meet Joshua. Together with us."
"Ahhh. That's good news then!"
"It is!"
Tsk. I was going to say that Joshua and I have kissed already. Well, we don't have a label yet but I know I have him. I have him? Wait, do I?
"Jeonghan."
I jumped seeing Seokmin in front of me all of a sudden. He has his hand on his wound so now I feel bad for him.
"Just tell me what's up. I know you're kind of, I don't know, upset with me." He said.
"I'll tell you what's up when we get out of here. But now, we need to get you properly treated. So, let's go."
"Hyung!" Hoshi pulled me to the corner and whispered "What was that? Are you going to tell him our secret?"
"No. I'm going to tell him to stay away from MY Joshua."
"Uhh, are you serious?"
"Did I stutter?"
"Uhh, does Shua knows that he's YOURS?"
"...SHIT."
"Why?" Seokmin limped to us.
"Don't force yourself." Hoshi ran and caught his arm.
"I think it's better to get out of here while it's dark. Seokmin's not holding up well. It's going to slow us down so better go out with minimum security."
"I'm sorry." Seokmin said.
"It's fine. I'm here."
"Hoshi." Seokmin smiled back at him.
"I'll go first. I'll knock the door twice if it's safe outside."
They nodded. So I proceeded and readied my gun.
It's quiet, almost peaceful. It's hard to believe that this kind of shelter belongs to a heartless hopeless romantic, which unfortunately happens to be my uncle.
Anyway, I walked a few steps just to make sure there are no guards near us. Then I went back to the cellar and knocked twice. I stepped aside and Hoshi holds a gun on his right while he has Seokmin on his opposite shoulder.
"There, can you see the top of that building?" I pointed at a red roof.
"Yeah, that's the opposite direction of the garden dome. There's the gate?" Seokmin asked.
"Gate is past that building. Hoshi told me you entered from the riverside gate, where I also entered. So I am guessing this one leads to more residential or commercial area."
"Do we need to enter that building?"
"Hopefully not. We'll try to avoid that."
We walked to that direction silently as much as possible. We reached a pathway close to the building when we heard rustling noises coming from there.
"Any sightings? Over."
"Negative. Over."
I have no idea what time is it in the evening but are they seriously still looking for us at this hour? Damn Nico, give your men a rest. And let us breathe too.
