"Hmm Jeonghan-hyung will not spend much on a ring, I'm guessing two thousand dollars." Chan held my hand and moved his face closer to it.

Hoshi then snatched it from him and inspected the ring, too.

"You don't know hyung when he really wants something."

"Does he pay a lot for something he likes?" Chan asked.
"Nah. He bargains for something he likes. I'm guessing one thousand dollars." Hoshi declared.

"Well, I don't think the price matters." I pulled my hand back. Price doesn't matter, of course. But did he really bargain for this? It makes me feel guilty.

"Joshujiiii."

I turned around and saw Jeonghan skipping towards us.

"So, how much is that?" Hoshi pulled his hyung's hand this time.

"Woooah. That is six thousand!" Chan jumped.

"Woaaah! This is shining!" Hoshi said.

"Joshuji bought this for me. Would you look at that."

Again, price doesn't matter but I bought that for seven thousand dollars. It's for Jeonghan, after all. He deserves only the best.

"To celebrate, we'll go on a vacation!" Jeonghan said.

"Yes!! When?" Chan jumped again.
"Tonight."

"Wait, Jeonghannie. Tonight?"
"You heard me right. Now pack your things."
"Where are we going?"
"We'll figure it out."
"Why don't we figure it out first before going?"

"It's fun!" Hoshi exclaimed.

"I know, but-"
"Wherever the roadtrip gets us, we'll have fun there!"

"That's my boy!" Jeonghan rubbed Hoshi's head. Now it's messy again.

I guess I'm not much of a spontaneous type. I always plan ahead of things. But tonight, I'll try to be one.

"Fine. I'll drive, okay?"

"Thank you!" Jeonghan squeezed and kissed my cheek.

"I'm happy that we're doing this together." I said.
"I'm happy that we're together."
"Yeah, and we'll always be."

Jeonghan pulled away and stared at my face for a couple of seconds.

"Yeah. Always."

I smiled and walked to my room.

"Oh another thing" I called to my fiancé.

"What?"
"Can we bring Jun and Minghao along? They've been very busy lately. Just thinking of giving them a break, you know."

Jeonghan put his hand on his chin.

"Yeah, The8 could be useful." He muttered.

"Useful?"
"No no no. I mean, could be resourceful! If we ever decided to go camping, that's it. So yeah, let's ask them."
"Great!"

I prepared a couple of clothes and toiletries, though Jeonghan said I'm packing too much. We'll never know how long we'll be out so it's better to have an extra.

I then took a good bath. It feels good. Not only the warm water but this warm set up. Just us, with Hoshi and Chan, with Jun and Minghao, hanging out.

No worries, not afraid of losing each other. Is this how a normal life should be?

I don't know. I never felt so relieved in my entire existence. I always thought the point of living is to eat and earn a living.
