"Ahhh! I told you I am just saving the pudding for later!!" Chan stomped his feet.
"You told me? I can't remember. I thought you don't like it." Hoshi wiped his lips but traces of chocolate remains.
"Buy me a pudding, now!"
"Money." He opened his palm.
"Why do I need to pay for something I paid already?"
"I don't want to spend money for you!"
"But you ate MY pudd-"
"Since we don't have patients yet, I'll go to the convenience store. You want the chocolate, right?" I interrupted. These cat and mouse are starting again.
"Hyung, let Hoshi buy it for me."
"I also want to look for some snacks so it's not a problem."
"Ehhhh."
"You're good here. Handle patients first if I'm not here yet."
"Fine. And yes, chocolate pudding."
I nodded and took my purse. Jeonghan placed his cup ramen down and snatched his water bottle. We both walked outside the clinic.
"You're not finished with your ramen."
"It's just the soup."
"Sure."
So we're back in the clinic and finally, finally it's Chan's autumn break. The hunters are also staying in the clinic, which made it a little crowded. Seokmin visits us often, riding the new car to replace his old and broken one.
After we confronted Mingyu and Wonwoo, I feel safer, weirdly. Mingyu decided to take the pistol, but I said I will keep it. Jeonghan and Seokmin do not approve of it. But just knowing Mingyu is ready to face whatever is going their way is enough. I thought if dad knows about his relationship with Wonwoo, he will probably let Mingyu be happy with him. So, when I said I'm keeping the pistol, Jeonghan and Seokmin agreed eventually.
Another weird thing after that confrontation, Jeonghan and I became closer.
He said he will stay by my side no matter what happens. It made me so so so delighted. I don't know, I just want to cry.
Also, when he kis, when he, you know, ki, kissed me, I thought we're really something special. My heart just leaped up and my body froze.
I feel awkward and comfortable at the same time. Everytime I notice his lips, I remember that kiss. It's embarrassing but I really cherish that moment.
Another level up in our relationship, we frequently send text messages when we're not together even though we're meeting later.
Just random texts. I send him photos of where I annoy Chan. He sends me videos of him waking Hoshi up with "Fighting!"
We're inseperable now. Like today. I'll just go to the convenience store and he's coming too.
I opened the door for him and he placed his hand on my waist, and pulled me inside the store.
I went first to the snacks section to choose what to eat. I picked Pocky, and I need another food.
I stood there scanning the shelves with my eyes. Jeonghan rested his chin on my shoulder.
"Choose something salty." He said.
"How 'bout Lays?"
"Hhmm Doritos?"
"Doritos."
I lifted Jeonghan's face and moved to get the Doritos. I walked to the fridge and chose Chan's chocolate pudding.
He snatched the Doritos and Pocky from me and picked choco pudding from the fridge. He holds those three with his right hand while his left hand held my right and pulled me to the counter.
"Let go. I need to get money." I still cannot use my left hand so.
"Let go? I'll pay instead." He placed the food on the counter and reached for some spare change in his pocket.
