The sixth floor became less crowded.
Most of Nico's men stayed and helped fighting. But some of them went out, leaving Nico's, and their comrades', body laying on the floor.
The biggest problem now is Jas.
She never let her guard down. Vernon's trademark diversion tactic is not working on her. Taehyung's, now joined by Mingyu, strategy to drain her energy is also not working. She's very much alive and thriving.
So Wonwoo's plan need to work. He's currently sprinkling the gasoline around this whole area.
"Jeonghan! Come here!" I called.
I gave him the bomb and explained what to do with it.
"I know this is too much, but do you thi-"
"Joshua, I swore to get you out of here. So yes, I can do this."
"Thank you."He kissed my forehead and ran back to Jas.
Since there's only a few enemy to deal with, I told the Quartz to leave the building through the fire exit.
"You sure you'll be good here?" Namjoon asked.
"Yeah. We'll be going out in a while too."
"Make it sure. We'll be waiting. By the way, who's that man?""He's Taehyung, or known as boss V in mafia."
"Well, I like his style. I like him in my group."
"Namjoon, I just told you that he's in the mafia."
"Doesn't matter. See you later, Jisoo!"He followed his gang. Now I prepared myself to be a bait.
I walked to the corner near the battle and surrendered. I heard Jas pick up her chainsaw and started it.
"I would love to chop you up."
She dashed towards me then Mingyu hurriedly pulled me out.
She drifted right away, but before she could follow us, Jeonghan unpinned the bomb and threw it in the ceiling above her.
The building shook and we all grabbed onto something to stay stable. Wonwoo then lighted the matchstick and threw it on the area near Jas' grave.
We paused to check if there will be any movements from the cement debris that buried her.
"Is she.." Seungkwan asked.
We all looked at each other and proceeded to run to the exit. Wonwoo threw another matchsticks at the other parts where he sprinkled gasoline including the floors below.
I let everyone get out first until Jeonghan and I are the only one inside.
"After you." I said.
"Hahaha! Come on."We stepped outside the exit.
I can't believe it. I thought this night was too long and too much. But now, I'm looking at all of us evacuating this burning building.
"Whew. I'm starving." Jeonghan said.
"Me, too."Then I heard something, like rocks crumbling, followed by a cough.
I opened the door again and Jas' head popped out of the debris mountain.
"Oy, Joshua?" Jeonghan called.
"Go now."
I went inside and locked the door behind. I jammed the cabinet to the door knob. I know Jeonghan will follow me. But I need to take Jas out alone.
Because I'm not sure if I can succeed. I don't even know why I want to save her. But my body tells me to take her out.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" He slammed the door.
