I opened my eyes just to be blinded by the sunlight.

I hid under the sheets, hoping I can get back to sleep. Then I realized, I decided to do something today.

I crawled to the side of the bed and reached for the first drawer. I grabbed the little box and check if the diamond ring is still inside.

I put it back and covered myself with the blanket.

I'm so nervous!

It's only been a month since Joshua and I began dating. It's also been a month of peacefulness. No action or violence from Nico's gang so far.

We're enjoying life!

Like right now, I'm on Joshua's bed. We're sleeping together on the same bed for a month too (just sleeping and cuddling, nothing more).

Jun said he needs to renovate the apartment. When our unit was disturbed by Nico's men, it gave Jun an idea to reconstruct it.

That's why Joshua offered his condo to us.

I love it!

The whole experience made me think, what if we live together? What if we get married now? I need to secure my spot in Joshua's life so I knew I need to ask him to marry me.

But what if he's not ready? It's okay, but what if it turned him off and he wanted to break up with me?

"Jeonghannie?"

Joshua knocked on the door and I pretended to be asleep. I can't face him right now with all these thoughts bothering me.

I heard his footsteps in the room, and the side of my bed lowered. He also regained his legs and is now able to walk.

He gently pulled the blanket on my face.

"You said you want pancakes for breakfast."

I did, I told him last night.

"You're awake, aren't you?"
"I'm not."
"Sure. Get up."
"I can't. Need- ahh!"

I sat up and scratched the skin on my leg Joshua just pinched.

"See, I knew you're awake."
"Who wouldn't? After that strong pinch. Tsk."
"Food's ready, okay? Get up and make me coffee."

Before he can stand up, I pulled his arm and hugged it. I'm still nervous. Don't leave me, Joshua.

"Haaay." He hugged me back. "Good morning, Jeonghannie."
"Gud mowning." My face is buried in his tummy.

He pulled away and walked out the room. I made the bed (because Joshuji gets angry when I leave it messy) and had one last glance at the ring in the drawer.

I get out of the room and saw Joshua and Chan already on the dining, while Hoshi stands in front of Chan's room, with his mussed hair and pjs. He's pouting while scatching his eyes.

"Hoshi-ya. Good morning. And wash your face?"
"Mmmh."

I nodded and proceeded to the table. I wrapped my arm around Chan's neck and greeted him good morning.

"Okay." He answered.

"Come on, why so cold?"
"Get off me!"

"Chan, didn't you have good sleep?" Joshua asked.
"Yeah. I didn't. It's because he barges in my room when the sign in the doorknob clearly says 'don't enter'."

"Jeonghan, respect his privacy."
"Well I always make sure that he's not doing anything when I come in." I sat beside Joshua.

"Not only that, he also eats my ramen without my permission!"
"What? I didn't eat- ah!"
