IVY

Maria went to park her car, I entered the cafe and saved us a spot. I sat down, Vicky one of the cafe worker and also my favorite came to me to ask for the order, just then Maria came in. "Hey Vick" I said with a smile. "The usual??" Vicky asked. I nodded and then she went back to the kitchen. 

"So, what is it that you wanted to tell me??". I looked around just to make sure no one was their to hear and then I told the whole Andrew situation. "That son of a bitch" she cursed. "Is he here?" she asked, I shook my head "I have no freaking idea, but I am scared as hell whenever I am taking a bath I feel insecure, even though Adam checks every corner of my house everyday but still" I said in a low voice. 

"Where is Adam by the way??". "I did not tell him I was coming , he would tag along for sure and I really wanted some space" I replied. "Ohhhh" 

I took glances of my surroundings just to be sure no weird person with a camera was there or worse  Andrew himself.

"Hey listen to me, you cannot just hide from him forever, you are not even posting any pictures with Adam on your Instagram, just because you are scared that he will get triggered. No one is mentioning you in their posts or stories just because you are scared that he will see you having fun and be mad. We all are here for you, you have to muster up all your courage and be that sassy bitchy Ivy I know, one who is not scared of anyone" Maria said, she sounded like a motivational speaker but I guess it worked, I realized what kind of coward I was being. 

"You should be a motivational speaker for sure" I joked. Our order came after a few minutes, we had it and then went for one thing that could help me, shopping!!!! Maria brought the car, I picked up my phone, which I forgot in the car as i was playing music. I saw 23 missed calls from Adam. 'Oh shit I am screwed' I thought. 

I called him back to hear a restless voice on the other end "Where in the hell are you miss". "I am with Maria, I know I should have called but if I did you would have asked to come along, I just wanted some time away from all of this" I said in one breath. There was silence on the other end, did I made him angrier?

I heard a sigh and then he replied "I know but still you could've called, call me after you are done with your meet up", after that he ended the call. "Well well, that sounded like trouble" Maria chuckled "He is kinda protective I guess".  

I really wanted to go to Maria's store for shopping, after some begging she agreed to it. As we entered the room I ran to the 2nd floor where the new collection was displaced. I shopped a lot, like a lot. After I was done I called Adam, Maria offered to drop me but I refused because I knew Adam was waiting for my call.  

Adam was waiting for me outside the shop, I ran to him and hugged him tightly. "Hello there, I guess I was missed" he teased. "Who missed you, it was just a gesture". We drove in silence I thought he would give me a lecture or something but he did not, which was a relief. 

"So what did you shop?" he asked. I smiled thinking about all the stuff that I bought, I reached for a bag in the back seat  and gave it to Adam. "Now now, what is it" he parked the car outside my house and took the packet. 

"Wear it tomorrow" I gave him a quick peck and then left. That night I did a lot of thinking about what I did was right or not and finally I mustered up all of my courage to face this ex of mine.

I got a call from Ivy last night I was really happy because we hadn't talked like since a week but when i picked up the call I started feeling restless as her voice not as joyful as usual. "What is it?" I asked straight away.
