CHAPTER 24

IVY

Even though I was really scared inside I had to hide it all, I had no intention of letting other worry about me, I cannot always be dependent upon them I had to get past this with my own strength too. No more time to overthink its time to get up. 

I took a long shower, I kept looking here and there just to make sure there were no more cameras in here. After taking a shower I went to my wardrobe and wore the outfit that I bought yesterday. 

I walked to the mirror and confidence rushed into my veins, I can do it for sure. I heard honking outside, I ran to my window Adam was here already and god he looked sexy in that outfit. 

I ran down and out the door. I saw him and ran and hugged him tightly, he kinda fell back though. "Hey bub, I had no idea that your fashion sense was this good" he said  teasingly looking down at his outfit. Wait wait wait, it took him some minutes to realized, "We are wearing couple outfits aren't we" he sounded like a kid and that look in his eyes was just to die for. 

I gave him a peck on his lips, and then went to sit inside the car. We reached school later than usual, the school ground was crowded. Adam parked the car in our usual parking place. When we got off the car  people started pointing at us and admiring our outfits. Maybe this was not such a good idea. 

I looked at Adam, our eyes met and he smiled at me reassuringly. We spotted Vincent, David, Sia and Mandy waving at us, we joined them and they started teasing us as expected. "Oh if it isn't the famous love birds" Vincent teased. I rolled my eyes at him. 

Adam looked somehow at ease today I guess the plan worked. Even though I was showing this much of confidence I was a bit scared about what Andrew would do when he will see us being a couple in public. 

As I was busy thinking about the what would happen if Andrew saw us hanging out like this and wearing couple outfits Angelia walked in with her cats and her  dear dear boyfriend. "Hey Ivy you both look.... great" she said with a pause. 

"That's why we are wearing it" I said sweetly. She rolled her eyes and walked off. "You both do look good together" Alvin said with a huge smile. "Come one Alvin" Angelia shouted, he gave us a last smile and walked off as well. 

Poor him stuck with such a girl, I pity him at times. The last bell rang and we went to our classes. My first class was French our teacher took a surprise test and I was shocked when I saw my score, I didn't even get a single question wrong which was kinda a big deal for me. In no time it was my last class, the whole day went by rather normally. No weird bouquets or parcels. 

After school we decided to go a double date with Vincent and Sia. First Adam was not sure but I assured him that it was fine. We went to a couple spot and took, well way too many pictures. After we went to Starbucks to have some coffee. It was a fun day we haven't hanged like this in quite a while now. 

Sia got a call from home so they both had to leave, since we were alone now we decided to go to our spot. The place was as beautiful as always. We sat on the bench and took the view of the city. It was a beautiful evening, I looked at Adam and smiled thank god this asshat is with me. He saw me looking at him and said "I know I am handsome but don't stare at me like that". I chuckled. 

He was looking at me in the eyes there was this tension between us like we wanted to kiss but were scared that the other would just burn in ashes if we did. This time I took the lead, I leaned forward and kiss him,he was startled for a moment but then kissed me back. He smelled like vanilla. My tongue entered his mouth and explored each and every corner of his mouth, he even tasted like vanilla. We kissed till both of us were out of breath, he pulled back first and started laughing. 

"My tigress", I giggled. It was around dinner time when I reached back home, I asked Adam to stay but he refused as there were some guests over. I opened my rooms door and crashed on my bed, today was surely like a dream. I told mom that I already had my dinner so I changed and straightaway went to bed.

I sat down comfortably as Maria explained her plan, "So I did some digging and I guess this Andrew guy is still in Vegas, so here is the thing, I did some more digging and he is quite near your house", "How much digging did you do exactly?" I asked amazed. "not important right now" she continued "So I called my brother who is in Vegas as well and told him the whole situation, he loves Ivy, she met him when she came over to my place, he said he will take care of the situation, he will give the bad boy vibe but he is a great person, moving on I called Noah and Adam already, Adam will be taking a flight tomorrow after school and together with Noah he will join my brother. You are coming here after your last exam tomorrow so that we can keep Ivy busy, we already talked with your parents. You will be spending your holidays here, the guys will join us soon." 

"Ohk and I am knowing this now because" I asked, "Sorry way too much work, but be happy Ivy will be free from all this stress" she replied with enthusiasm. I wished her goodnight and sat down to process. I hoped everything would go the way we planned it to. 

Guess I am going to L.A tomorrow, I got up and started packing straightaway.
