The Popular Girls

CHAPTER 3

They next day only Jack was there to pick me up and when I asked him where Angelia was he said Alvin picked her up."Not a shocker" I thought. The whole drive went with me listening how he asked the most popular girl of his class to the prom and she said yes.

We reached school and I walked to where the three cats were standing, Alvin was with them. As soon as Angelia saw me she kissed Alvin on his cheek. Anger rose inside me but I just went there anyway.

"You two look cute" I said . "Awww, Thanks" Angelia replied in a very weird tone.Then Daisy and Susan came to me and asked me why Alvin with Angelia were together. I told them the whole story and they said that "maybe its fate".

My first class was free as the teacher was not here. I was sitting alone as Angelia was with Alvin and the other two were sitting together. Many people asked if they could sit next to me but Angelia just humiliated them and sent them away.

After few minutes the principal came in our class and said that a new student would be joining us.I did not pay much attention and was facing back talking with Angelia when he entered. She gasped.

"Is it a guy?" I asked. "Yes, and a very hot one" she replied.Alvin looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "What? he is hot, and you are my boyfriend you should be proud" she said in an irritated tone.

I decided not to look back, no matter how hot he is. Then suddenly someone back hugged me and I heard gasps even from the three cats. I turned to see the person standing in front of me was none other than Adam.

I had a huge smile on my face and I got up from my seat and hugged him. After few seconds we parted away.
"Hey, there" he said. I hit him hard and said"Oh weren't you being home schooled?". He just smiled.

Then Angelia interrupted us by extending her said. "Hey, I am Angelia Ivy's best friend. "Best friend my foot" I thought.

"Hi, I am Adam, Ivy's person" he replied. I looked at him when he said "Ivy's person". He just smiled.

But thank god that comment made Angelia stop talking . The whole day went by quickly. During lunch Adam sat with us. And I decided to let him enter the Organization Club, with our teacher's permission.

After school I went to Adam's house.We watched the Iron Man series. It was quite late when we finished. Adam's parents were not home from work yet.

It was around 8 when I left his house.He dropped me as he said that cab's not safe. When I was about to open my door he shouted my name.

I went back to the car and raised an eyebrow at him."Let's go to the prom together, like as friends we can, can't we?" he asked.

I stood there trying to control my laughter but I couldn't because he looked so scared. "Of course dumbo, and I know you mean as friends but your way of asking was priceless" I said, still laughing.

He rode off in anger. I smiled at his childishness and then went back home. Mom didn't ask me why I was late because I had already texted her.

I went to my bedroom and took a shower. After my shower I jumped onto my bed and opened my phone. I have got a message from Adam.

Adam: I will pick you up tomorrow

IVY: As you wish, sir

Adam: Tomorrow I am gonna
go to buy my prom suit

IVY: Me too
