CHAPTER 8

IVY

The next morning I woke up around 9 and took a shower straight away, as today Adam had planned a date. I was really excited, it would be our first official date.

I went up to my wardrobe and picked out a dress. I went to take a shower and then dressed up.It was around 11 when he came to pick me up. My parents had gone to my relatives early in the morning as they just had a baby. 

When I heard the horns I ran to the entrance of my house locked the door and hopped into the car. 

"Hey beautiful" Adam said while dropping a kiss on my cheek, it made me blush and he just chuckled. I loved it whenever he complimented me, his voice just gives me more and more confidence. 

We first stopped at Burger King to buy burger and fries, Adam bought the food and we ate it in the car. Adam did not tell me where we were going he just kept driving. 

I played some k-pop songs which made me feel even better. I was dancing to the beats of mic drop and Adam kept taking glances and each time he did he smiled. Then we both started singing and dancing to the beats.

Ivy

We have been driving from so long but I still have no idea where we are going. I slept on my way in between because I was a bit tired. 

Adam woke me up when we were finally there. It took me a few seconds to see where we were and when I did I loved it. 

It was an open ground with couples gathered lighting and flying sky lanterns. It looked beautiful, everything was just spectacular. 

We bought a lantern as well, wrote a wish on it and then let it go. Every single couple was smiling and it was sure that everyone was feeling happy here today. 

Adam's eyes and mine met we went into each others gaze, smiled at each other. I don't know from where but I gathered up courage and kissed him on his lips.

He was taken back and made me smile on his lips, it took him a while to process and when he did he kissed me back. Sky filled with lanterns and us  kissing beneath was the best feeling every. "I will never forget this day" I thought.

Today I got ready in a rush, it was my first official date with her and I had no intentions of screwing it up. I had planned a perfect date for us, even though the destination was a bit far but it was worth it.

I picked up Ivy around 11, I greeted her with a kiss on the cheek and few compliments. It makes me smile how she blushes at these things.

We stopped by Burger King to get some food and then continued our journey. Ivy was enjoying BTS Dynamite, no matter what time it is, this band makes her smile so I though of asking her a question. 

"Hey, Ivy if you have to pick between them and me who would you pick?" I asked. She looked at me in disbelief "is it even a question, BTS of course" she replied with an innocent smile. I just rolled my eyes at her.

We finally reached there, I stayed awake the whole night to find a perfect place to got to and I knew  it was worth it. I woke up Ivy as she had fallen asleep in between. She looked so peaceful while sleeping.

When Ivy woke up her expression was priceless. She looked at me and smiled widely. We bought a lantern like the other couples, wrote our wishes and let it off. It was beautiful. 

Our eyes met and we went into a deep gaze. Her eyes were sparkling as usual under the moonlight and the light of the lanterns were making her look even more beautiful. 

I wanted to kiss her so badly but I had no idea how she would feel, I think she read my mind because she came to me and pressed our lips together. 

It took me few seconds to process, then I kissed her back. I was able to feel her smile on my lips and so did I.

one of my friends was there too and he took a photo. I dropped Ivy off, I intended to apologize to her parents but they were not home yet. 

When I reached home I kept staring at that picture and kept remembering our wonderful kiss. I am so in love with this girl, I thought. 

I have no idea how long will this last but I do hope this is forever.

I am sorry guys this chapter is a bit short compared to other, but personally I love this chapter, it's full of love.
