CHAPTER 26

IVY

I watched him disappear at the turn. I really wanted to call him and ask him not to go but I could not, I should not. I stepped inside my house and walked upstairs to my room. I was kind of weird, my room door was slightly open. Is he here??

I took out the knife I always kept on my bag, I stepped inside my room when someone suddenly hugged from the back. I raised my knife and then familiar screams. I turned around and there were my two babies standing. 

"The fuck Ivy" Amy shouted at me. "Amy, Maria, What the hell are you doing here" I asked confused. Oh shit, the gift he was talking about is them?

'Girl that was hell of a welcome' Maria joked. I hugged them both. "But how?" I asked. It took them few seconds to realize what I was talking about. "Ohh Adam told us that he was leaving so we came" Maria answered. 

I turned towards Amy "You!! how are you here what about you exams??". "Ohhh they ended today, I wanted to surprise you so did not tell you, Adam called me yesterday and asked to come today" she replied. Was I the only one who got the information at the eleventh hour. 

"Oh now, your parents and brother are out to your relatives for a night so we have this whole house to us" Maria said all excited. I sighed "Now now lets go for some shopping shall we" Amy asked. We all shouted in agreement. 

First we went to the cafe and then went to Maria's shop. That is my go to place even though Maria refused but no one can defeat me in a debate. Amy told me that Noah will come back with Adam when I asked her where he was. 

We did a lot of shopping, bags full of clothes and shoes. There was a new shop in the neighborhood so went to try it out. The shop was filled with clothes. The shop's name was 'AESTHETIC' and the name suited the place, the clothes were just perfect. 

When we were done it was 8 at night. We got out of the store with huge smiles, we started walking towards Maria's car when I saw someone whom I loved from my whole heart, Angelia and her minion. 

"Hey Ivy" she greeted me I smiled and waved back. "Oh Amy and Maria are here too" she said. "Oh so you tried out the new store' she asked. "That's why is have the bags' I replied. 'I see, see you later, say hi to Adam" she said and walked away. 

"I hate her" we three said in unison. After we got back home mom called Maria and asked her to lock all the door and the windows "Yes, Good night Auntie" she ended the call. "She loves you" Amy said "She loves me" Maria repeated. We laughed.

Amy chose to watch Insidious, the house was filled with screams. At the end of the movie we walked together not even going to the bathroom alone. We all crashed on my bed. We had put beds on the floor so  that we can sleep together, my room's floor is quite big. I started staring at the wall. 

"What are you thinking about" Amy asked, Maria turned towards me as well. "Just, Adam did not even call, I am worried" I replied in a low voice. "Shut up and have fun you Adam obsessed" Maria stood up and started tickling me and Amy, I laughed then me and Amy jumped on her and did the same to her. 

We slept really late, I slept quite well, feeling safe. When I woke up Amy and Maria were already downstairs. I went to brush my teeth and take a quick shower and then went to the kitchen there I heard laughter. "Oh you are up, Maria is making pancakes" Amy said excitedly. She loved food. 

Maria made the pancake and we placed them on the table. "So, Adam called when you were sleeping, we did not want to wake you up. Amy said with food still in her mouth. "What did he say" I asked "Oh just that they are coming back, their flight was at 8, its almost 10 they will e here soon" she replied.
